30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 9

Good morning!  Boy is it cold this morning, fall is definitely not messing around.  Today's card for the 30 Day Gratitude Challenge is perfect for this fall feeling day and uses the fabulous Painted Harvest stamp set from the Holiday catalog.

I started with Soft Suede cardstock for the cardbase and then added Very Vanilla cardstock for the cardfront.  On this I started with the Burlap Background stamp and stamp in the top left corner using Crumb Cake ink.  The greeting was stamped in the bottom right corner using Soft Suede ink.  I also stamped the fern leaf image directly on the cardfront using Old Olive (stamped off once) and Always Artichoke ink.

For the flower I stamped using Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry Ink with Soft Suede for the center and then cut it out using my Paper Snips.  The leaves were stamped using Old Olive and Garden Green ink and then punched out with the coordinating Leaf Punch.  I curled up the edges of the leaves and flower before attaching it to the cardfront with Tombow Liquid Glue.  The final touch as to add a bow tied using 1/4" Copper Trim.

I love how this card turned out because it's nice and simple but has lots of texture and doesn't take a lot of supplies to techniques, perfect!
