Graduation Card: Everything is Rosy

Good evening,

With graduation season upon us I've been working on graduation cards to celebrate this special occasion and since I make my cards I try to personalize the cards to the school colors of the graduate.  I had this gorgeous piece of foil designer series paper from the Everything is Rosy Product Medley and I knew I just had to use this bundle for another graduation card (even if it meant take a little creative license on the foil color).

I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock and then added the piece of Night of Navy/Rose Gold Foil Designer Series Paper as the cardfront.

Next I used the Big Shot and Large Letter Framelits to cut the GRAD letters out of the Rose Gold Foil Paper that's also included in the bundle (heads up, since the Large Letter Framelits are retiring they just were put on sale for 30% so make sure to order these NOW as they're only available while supplies last!)

For the rest of the greeting I used the Everything is Rosy stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out with the Big Shot and Stitched Rectangle Framelits (I sponged around the edge with Night of Navy ink before attaching the piece with dimensionals).

This foil is so elegant its the perfect way to celebrate!  Don't forget, the Everything is Rosy Product Medley is only available through the end of the month so you have to order by tomorrow so you don't miss out (all the Rose Gold elements in this bundle is reason enough to make sure it's part of your crafting tool box!)

End of Year Teacher Cards: Picked for You

Good afternoon!

We have less than 2 weeks left of school this year so it's time to get started on end of the year teacher thank you's.  When the Picked for You stamp set was released I knew it would be perfect for teachers gifts.  I also know Aidan has 8 teachers this year so getting him to write in all the cards may be the hardest part of this so I decided to make mini 3" x 3" gift cards perfect for just a little note of appreciation.

I started with Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the cardbase and then added Early Espresso cardstock as the mat for the Whisper White cardfront.  I stamped the cardfront with the Burlap stamp set (retiring) in Crumb Cake ink.

For the stamping I used the Picked for You stamp set (retiring) and stamped the apple (which is actually 4 different overlapping stamp sets for different dimension) using Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green (both full strength and stamped off once) and Early Espresso ink and then cut the apple out with Paper Snips.

The greeting is from the same stamp set and I used my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to just ink the "thanks" part of the stamp and stamped it on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Big Shot and Layering Ovals Framelits.  I used dimensionals to attach the greeting.  To finish this off I stamped on the coordinating envelope using the same colors and just changed the greeting.

I love how these cute cards turned out and now we have the task of Aidan writing in them, wish me luck!  While I'm bummed this stamp set is retiring (actually both stamp sets used are retiring), you can still order through tomorrow to ensure you have it for your future crafting needs!

Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge #PCC338: Everything is Rosy

Good morning,

It seems like every year we're trying to see if we can cram any more things into the month of May, we really have reached the saturation level but got to just keep moving.  All this means I haven't had loads of time to be in the studio but this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge was so great I knew I needed to play along and the Everything is Rosy Product Medley is perfect for making a fast and fabulous card.

I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock for the cardbase and then added a layer of Night of Navy cardstock as a mat for the Melon Mambo cardfront which was embossed with the Big Shot and Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder (this folder is perfect as it looks like the textured paper we used to sell so I can have any color textured paper in no time).

Next I added a square of Designer Series Paper (one with Rose Gold accents of course) and tucked a couple of the floral pieces I die cut with the Everything is Rosy dies and Rose Gold Foil Paper, as well as a strip of Night of Navy Ribbon that's trimmed in Rose Gold metallic (love it!!)

For the greeting I used one of the die cut pieces that come in the kit and stamped using the Everything is Rosy stamp set and Night of Navy and Melon Mambo ink (I stamped off once for the Navy leaves around the flower) before attaching the greeting to the cardfront with dimensionals.

The final touches were some pearls I colored with a Light Flirty Flamingo Blends pen (every close to the pink in the DSP) as well as the flower which was another die cut piece and I sponged it using Night of Navy ink to change up the color.

I love all the different elements that help bring texture and dimension to the card while not being really fussy.  Oh and of course there is the Rose Gold everywhere (yes I am addicted!!)  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share your creation.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #315: Everything is Rosy

Good morning!

May is speeding by isn't it?  Memorial Day is almost here and then school will be out shortly after.  We've also been enjoying the Everything is Rosy Product Medley this month so I decided to use portions of it again for this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge.  I love the colors in the product medley, and of course the Rose Gold accents are just the bomb that make my heart go pitter patter.

I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock for the cardbase and then used Coastal Cabana cardstock for the cardfront and then embossed it with the Big Shot and Simple Stripes Embossing Folder.  The Gorgeous Grape DSP is from the Brights Designer Series Paper stack (retiring).

The Melon Mambo DSP strip is from the Everything is Rosy bundle and has Rose Gold foil accents.  I used the Everything is Rosy Dies in the bundle to cut two of the flourish pieces out of the Rose Gold Foil that was also in the kit.  The greeting piece is also from the kit and has Rose Gold accent trim and then I stamped the greeting in Gorgeous Grape and Coastal Cabana ink using the Everything is Rosy Stamp set and then attached with dimensionals.  The final touch was to attach a bow using Melon Mambo 1/4" Ruched Ribbon that is also included in the kit.

There is so many great items in this product medley it makes projects really easy to coordinate and full of detail.  Don't forget this item is only available this month, while supplies last so don't wait to order yours.  Make sure to also check out all the cards the design team is sharing using this color challenge and then we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create using these fun colors.

Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge #PCC337: Everything is Rosy

Good morning!

Graduation season is approaching so it's time to start adding some cards to my stock for the occasion.  This week the Paper Craft Crew theme challenge is about celebrations so this works perfectly!  I'm also still having lots of fun with the Everything is Rosy Product Medley, with it's Rose Gold elements so that's what I went with.

I started with Blushing Bride cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock as a mat for the gorgeous  foiled designer series paper.  I wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy Rose Gold Trimmed Ribbon around to anchor the greeting.

The Big Shot and Large Letter Framelits (retiring) make easy work of cutting the letters out of the Rose Gold Foil paper included in the product medley.  Look at this awesome greeting tag!  It's also part of the kit and has Rose Gold Foil accents so I just stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink using the Everything is Rosy stamp set and attached the greeting with dimensionals.

This product medley is jam packed with products that help you make stunning projects without needing lots of extras.  Makes sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.

Remember the Everything is Rosy Product Medley is only available through May 31, while supplies last so don't miss out on ordering yours.
