Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge #567: Simply Zinnia

Good morning!

I'm back with a card using this weeks Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge which is perfect for this spring time weather.

I used the Simply Zinnia Bundle (which is an Online Exclusive) for this beautiful floral image.

The card starts with a base of Basic White Thick cardstock and then a piece of Basic White cardstock that's embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing folder before popping it up with dimensionals.

For the floral image I stamped it with Momento Black ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the coordinating dies and coloring with Stampin' BlendsDimensionals were used to pop up the image on the cardfront.

For an accent I tied a double bow using Linen Thread.  The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped in Melon Mambo ink before being cut out using the Stitched Shaped Dies and attached with dimensionals.

I love how the colors really pop against the crisp white background.

This challenge is perfect for springtime greetings so I encourage you to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration and then share what you create, can't wait to see it!

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #556 - Heartfelt Hexagon

Good morning,

We're a week away from Valentine's Day so I'm working on wrapping up a few gifts and cards I need to get in the mail.  Today I used the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge for this fun card with a more masculine feel card (which is definitely needed in my house).

For this card I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock for the cardbase and then I matted a piece of the Most Adorned Speciality Designer Series Paper (free during Sale-a-bration) with Basic Black cardstock.  I took another piece of the DSP (love the foiled heart accents) and cut tails in it for a flag as well as adding a piece of Gold Foil cardstock that was embossed with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder.
The greeting is from the new Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and coordinating punch and was attached with dimensionals.  I added a piece of Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon around the cardfront and finished the card with an embossed heart using Black cardstock and the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing folder (it has both the embossing folder and coordinating dies!)

I love all the patterns and textures on this card, so fun!  make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration, and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.
