Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #548 - Cheers to the Season

Good morning!

I hope things are going well for you during this holiday season.  I'm taking a break from all my festive activities to play along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge it's a nice and simple one, perfect to add your own touch.

For this card I started with a cardbase of Whisper White Thick cardstock before matting a piece of Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper and matting it with Early Espresso cardstock before attaching it to the cardbase.  I took another coordinating piece of DSP (you know how I love my plaid) and matted it also with Early Espresso cardstock and attaching it across the center of the card.

The stamped image is from the Cheers to the Season stamp set and is one of the fun Disinkive stamps with lots of texture and dimension built into the stamp.  It was stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Layering Circles Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out the scalloped circle mat out of Garden Green cardstock before attaching the whole piece to the cardfront with dimensionals.

To finish off the card I added a simple bow tied with the Gold & Very Vanilla 3/8" Satin Edge Ribbon.

This card just screams festive greetings, I love it.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration and we would love for you to play along and share what you create with this sketch.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 30

Good morning!

It's the last day of November, crazy I know!  I've really enjoyed this years gratitude challenge and hope you have enjoyed following along with me and have been inspired to create something yourself.  I decided to end the month with a winter themed card (to match how cold it is here, haha!) using one of my favorite new bundles, Trucking Along!

One again I started with the Basic White Note Cards and Evelopes set (these really are an easy go to item) and then I added a piece of DSP from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (I wanted to get 2 cards out of one piece so I cut it to 3" and then added a little strip of the Real Red Pattern along the left side.

I stamped the truck using the Trucking Along stamp set (2 stamp so once with the outline in Basic Black and a second to fill it in with Real Red) then I colored in the tires with my Stampin' Blends before punching it out with the coordinating punch and attaching it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and was stamp in Night of Navy ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes dies and attaching with dimensionals over a piece of the Real Red & Gold 3/8" Dotted Ribbon (love this!)

This card makes me think of country Christmas which is so fun!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 29

Good morning!

How is November almost over already?  Halloween was yesterday, haha!  Anyways, we're wrapping up this years gratitude challenge and still having fun.  Today I'm sharing another Christmas/winter themed card you are sure to love.

I once again used the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes pack and added a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock that was embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing folder.  Next I added 2 pieces of DSP from the A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper, one cut as a rectangle and the other punched out with the 2" Circle Punch.

The greeting is from the Go to Greetings stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White cardstock and then cut out with the Stitched Rectangles dies and attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.  To bling up the card I added a few snowflakes from the Adhesive Backed Snowflake Assortment (this is an online exclusive so make sure you don't miss them!)

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 28

Good morning!

We may be having cold weather here but it doesn't mean we can't have a sunny feeling.  I'm back with today's gratitude card and this one is so fun, it was created for a shoebox swap I was in by Barbara Holicky (she's so creative) featuring the Sweet Citrus Bundle.

This card uses Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the cardbase and then a piece of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Sweet Citrus Embossing Folder.  This set also cuts images out which is how the different citrus pieces were cut out using Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, and Lemon Lolly cardstock (love all the textures on this card).

I wrapped a piece of ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo pack around the cardfront and then tied a bow.  The greeting is from the same set and was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist before being cut out with the Stitched Shapes dies and attaching it to the card with dimensionals.  The final touch was to add some gems to bling it up a little.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 27

Good morning and Happy Monday!

Just a few days left in the month and we've almost completed this months gratitude challenge, and I'm so excited.  Today I'm using the fun Silly Goose stamp set for this everyday thankful greeting.

I started with Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of Fresh Fresia cardstock that is embossed with the Stipes & Splatters Embossing Folder.  Next I added a strip of the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and matted it with Basic Black cardstock.

The main image is from the Silly Goose stamp set and was stamped with Black Momento ink on Basic White cardstock before coloring it in with Stampin' Blends before attaching to the cardfront.

The greeting is from the stamp set and was stamped in black in and fussy cut with Snips before attaching with dimensionals.  The final touch was to tie a double bow using the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine and attached it by the goose.
