Eichfeld Family Christmas Card

As many people know, one of my highlights of the holidays is making our family christmas card.  Normally I work these in the summer and have them all complete in August so we only have to add the picture and write the greetings before mailing.  Unfortunately this year I was a little busy so I just finished our christmas cards a week ago.

This years card is an easel card that stands up on it's own so you can also see the pattern and label on the inside (check this out).

They were a lot of work but we love the way they turned out, hope you enjoy!

Have a happy and safe holiday season!

A Cute Christmas!

Does it always seem like now much how you plan for the holidays you alway spend the entire month on the run?  That is definately how I've felt this month, which has left little time for "fun stamping."  You know what that is, just having fun creating with now specifice recipient in mind.  Since both Aidan and have have been sick this weekend several of the christmas parties we wer planning to go to we've had to pass so I've had some unplanned time and I was able to participate in this weeks Stamping 411 challenge.

This weeks card uses the A Cute Christmas Stamp Set and the Candy Cane Christmas DSP, two of my favorite items this year.  The cardbase is Blushing Bride with a piece of Baja Breeze cardstock on top.  I used a piece of 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon to wrap around the DSP and then tied a nice big bow.  The main stamp image was colored in with Stampin' Write Markers and then I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the snow with a 2 Way Glue Pen.  The entire image was punched out with the Large Oval Punch and then layered on a piece of Garden Green cardstock that I punched with the Decorative Label Punch.

The final touch was the greeting from the Four Holidays stamp set with Early Espresso Ink.  Now check out the sketch challenge provided this week.

I love this card, it has lots of dimension and just screams happy holidays.

Hope you enjoy and have a great week!

Thankgiving Decor, A Little Late!

Good evening!  So winter has finally arrived (we should really have snow with how cold it's been the past couple of days.  So we're in full swing with christmas activites but I forgot to share some things I made for our thanksgiving.  To the left are treat bags I made for the kids with the Mini Lunch Bags, Autumn Spice DSP, and the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  The tags were punched out with the new decorative label punch and then I cut out leaves and acorns as an accent.  Each bag held candy and other treats which were a big hit.

For the thanksgiving table I made name cards and napkin rings using the same autumn spice DSP and the Paisely Prints stamp set.  I cut out the pumpkins and used dimensionals so they "popped" and cut out each of the leaves before using the linen thread to tie them around the napkin.
Do you notice the little strip of paper on the name card?  I used the new Tasteful Trim Bigz die to cut the rick-rack pattern (easy peasy).
All these projects were a lot of fun to make and added nice touch to our festivities.

Hope you enjoy!

Watercolor Wonder Crayons Now Available!

Great news! The Watercolor Wonder Crayons are now available for purchase. The new Watercolor Wonder Crayons were delayed due to a major relocation of our supplier. We now have inventory and you can start ordering today!

There is a New Color Kit (#120949, $39.95) you can order if you already have the old Watercolor Wonder Crayon sets. This kit includes new trays (4), inserts (4), and tins (4) as well as 17 new and previously unavailable color crayons: Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, River Rock, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Basic Gray.

If ordering complete sets (rather than just the new Color Kit), some of the color sleeves may feature old artwork on them. This does not affect the quality of the crayons; we simply need to deplete inventory of crayons with the old artwork before we use crayons featuring the new artwork. Here is the ordering information for the new Watercolor Wonder Crayon sets:

                   • Subtles (#119802, $16.95)

                   • Regals (#119803, $16.95)

                   • Brights (#119804, $16.95)

                   • Neutrals (#119805, $16.95)

Thanks for your patience!
