Proverbial Stampers Color Challenge: Happy Happenings

Good morning and Happy Birthday Eve (to me, yeah!!)  I love birthdays and ramp up to mine all month so I'm super excited.  Today I decided to play along with the Proverbial Stampers color sketch and make this super fun card that is perfect to let someone know how fabulous they are (and I have some great friends in that category).

I started with Mint Macaron cardstock for the cardbase and then added a mat of Night of Navy cardstock behind the cardfront that was Smoky Slate designer series paper (from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack).  Next I took a piece of Night of Navy cardstock and embossed it with the Big Shot and Boho Chic Embossing Folder to make a flag.

The Tie Died stamp set is so much fun and I used it to make the circle image using Smoky Slate and Night of Navy ink before cutting it out with the Big Shot and Layering Circles Framelits.

The greeting is from the Happy Happenings stamp set and was stamped with Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut out with the same Layering Circles Framelits as is the scalloped circle mat using Mint Macaron cardstock.  The greeting is attached to the cardfront with dimensionals and the final touch was to add a little sparkle with a piece of Silver Sequin Trim just peaking out from the side of the circle.

This card was so easy and fun to make and what a great color combination, definitely did the happy dance when it was finished and I know anyone who receives it will enjoy it just as much.

Just a reminder, we only have 3 more days of Sale-a-bration so make sure to get all your final orders in to get your FREE SAB goodies (there are some great products this year, including recently added Annual Catalog and Occasion catalog items), don't miss out!!
