Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop: Manly Masculine Madness

Good morning!  It’s the second Thursday of the month, which means it’s time for another blog hop with the Stylin’ Stampin’ INKspiration designers.  Since this month we have Father’s Day we’ve decided to make the theme of this months hop all about the guys in our lives and provide some great inspiration, be it for Father’s Day, Birthday, even graduations we need to celebrate the dudes.  As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers!

You should have just left stop number 8 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Darcy at Dj's Stampin Place. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.
I started with Crumb Cake for the cardbase and then added a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock that was embossed with the Big Shot and Stylish Stripes  Embossing Folder, I also sponged all over the cardstock with Crumb Cake ink (actually sponged every layer of this project, just so you know!!)  Next I took The Open Sea stamp set and stamped the journal log in Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock.  I added a piece of Burlap Ribbon and ¼” Island Indigo Cotton Ribbon to stick out from behind the journal before I attached it to the card front.  Next I stamped the globe image on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Island Indigo ink and punched it out with the 2” Circle Punch and attached it with dimensionals.

For the greeting I used the Guy Greetings stamp set and stamped it on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Cajun Craze ink and cut it out using the Big Shot and the Project Life Cards and Tags Framelits (these dies are awesome for tags!!!) and attached it to the cardfront with dimensionals for a final touch.
The mix of regal and neutral colors work great for masculine cards (I can’t wait for my first order from the new catalog to arrive tomorrow so I can get some new DSP’s to work with (love our designer paper and it really makes projects so much fun!!)

Below are easy ordering links for the products used on today’s card:
