Good morning and welcome to the midpoint in the week! We're very excited in our house since we just have a couple more days before spring break (even though Chris and I have to work next week it should still be a break from the craziness that spring brings). Today I decided to play along with this weeks Fab Friday Color Challenge. I really liked the soft, neutral colors of this color challenge and thought it would be perfect for a quick and easy birthday card. I started with a Sahara Sand cardbase and added a piece of Pistachio Pudding DSP from the 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack and matted it with Baked Brown Sugar cardstock.
For the stamped greeting I used the Another Great Year stamp set and decided to heat emboss the greeting with Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder (the gold matches perfectly with the Baked Brown Sugar). I added a Sahara Sand Button from the Neutrals Designer Buttons package and tied a bow with Whisper White Baker's Twine.
This stamp is so great since it's nice and big so you can make some really pretty and easy cards, which are awesome and with this color combination it would work for either a guy or a girl recipient.
Have a great day and enjoy!
