SSINKspiration Carols of Christmas Fun!

Good morning!  We're all starting to  think about the holidays, even vaguely, so it's perfect that one of the product bundles from the upcoming Holiday catalog has been released for purchase early (thanks SU!) so the SSINKspiration designers are sharing some fun holiday cards using the new Carols of Christmas stamp set and coordinating bundle.  For my card I decided to use some non-traditional holiday colors for this card that's nice and mailable, perfect when your sending out lots of holiday greetings.

I started with Wild Wasabi cardstock for the cardbase and then added a layer of Fresh Fig cardstock as a mat for the Whisper White cardfront.  Next I took one of the ornament stamps and used my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to color in just the ornament strings and stamped it on the cardfront before embossing it with the Big Shot and Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

Next I used my Stampin' Write Markers to color in the greeting directly on the stamp and then stamped it on Whisper White cardstock and matted it with Dapper Denim cardstock before attaching it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The final touch was the ornmaments.  I stamped them on a scrap of cardstock and then used the coordinating framelits to cut out each of the three ornaments so they could be attached with Mini Dimensionals.

This card is really quick to pull together but as elements to really help dress it up and take it to the next level (and you could certainly make lots of these cards in no time).  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing so you can figure out an idea for your first (maybe) holiday card of the season, trust me with this bundle once you start you'll have so many ideas it will be hard to stop!
