Good morning and Happy Thursday from beautiful Salt Lake City! I love coming here every year for Stampin' Up's annual convention, it's a wonderful city and I have so much fun meeting up with friends from across the country, learning all about what's new and upcoming with the company, and of course, stamping! Another great thing about these events is that you get so many great ideas and inspiration, there are boards set up all around the Gathering Place with literally thousands of cards and other projects to be viewed, admired and photographed (trust me the lines to take pictures are crazy all week!) So this year Stampin' Up! offered teams the opportunity to apply to create display boards made by their group and one of the design teams that I'm a part of, Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, applied and were selected. So we all had the opportunity to create projects to use on this board (I think we all made too many but at least this way there are choices and we have some really great ideas) and for the next two days over on our blog we're sharing the projects we made.
We each picked a stamp set and then created all our projects using that one stamp set so they coordinated. For my projects I used the Be the Star stamp set along with the coordinating Star Framelits and Hearts and Stars Mask. I know I told you early how excited I was that Stampin' Up! released so many great star themed items in this years catalog and the more I play with them the more I fall in love. Below are the first two cards, of course there's also lots of bling and color.
You must go check them out, I love everything!
Have a great day!
