Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge: Sealed with Love

Good morning!  There's the possibility of snow in our forecast which has everyone excited (we'll have to see what actually comes).  Today I decided to play along with  Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch challenge and made this really fun Valentine's Card (it's the kick I'm currently on as I plan upcoming classes and projects so you can be ready as well).

I started with Melon Mambo cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece Pop of Pink Speciality Designer Series Paper that was matted with Whisper White cardstock.  I love this this paper since the it has so many different patterns and I knew this would make great Valentine paper when it was first released last summer!

Next I took a piece of Gold Foil Paper and embossed it with the Big Shot and Happy Heart Embossing Folder (I love these hearts!) and cut the tails in it with Paper Snips.

The greeting is from the new Sealed with Love stamp set (from the Occasions Catalog which was released yesterday) and was stamped in Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits (hopefully more of these framelits will be available starting later this month so if you weren't able to get them in the first release get ready and be prepared to place your order as soon as the news of their arrival is released, I'll let you know!)  The greeting was attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.  For a final little touch a took the kiss stamp and heat embossed in with the Heat Tool and Gold Embossing Powder before cutting them out with Paper Snips and attaching with a dimensional (the gold lips remind me of the Hunger Games crazy outfits!!)

I really liked how this card turned out and the pop of black against the pink with gold tickles my heart, yummy!!

Enjoy!
