SSINKspiration Coloring 101: Blended Seasons

Good evening!  I'm a little late posting this but the  SSINKspiration team is sharing coloring ideas, and we have lots of different options.  I decided to use my featured Product of the Week, the Blended Seasons bundle to create this card and used Stampin' Blends to color two of the leaves.

For this card I started with Crumb Cake cardstock and then added a piece of Soft Suede cardstock that's stamped with the large leaf image repeatedly using Soft Suede ink (stamped off once).  Next I cut the label out using the coordinating Stitched Seasons Framelits and the Big Shot using Crumb Cake cardstock.  I stamped the greeting and then sponged around the edges to distress the label and used dimensionals to attach it to the cardfront.

Next it came time to decorate and I used Mossy Meadow, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze, and Gold Foil Paper to cut out the leaf outline using the framelits.  Then I stamped and colored the solid leaves and cut them out with framelits and attached them all to the card.  The final touch as to add a bow tied with 1/4" Copper Trim (I'm getting used to mixing different metallics which is oh so popular.

I absolutely love how this card turned out and it makes you just want to touch all the leaves with their texture.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and you can get on your way to coloring (it's great for stress relief.

Blended Season Congrats!

Good afternoon!  Ever want to make a card that looks to impress and only you know that it wasn't as hard to make as other think?  When your in a time crunch these cards are a lifesaver as they make the recipient feel special but you don't kill yourself in the process.  Today I'm sharing another card using the Blended Seasons bundle and with the help of the framelit pieces this card comes together in no time.

I started with Mint Macaron cardstock for the cardbase and then added Basic Black as a mat for the Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper that I used for the cardfront.  I added another strip of the DSP as an accent.

Next I used the Big Shot and Stitched Seasons Framelits to cut out the label piece using Whisper White cardstock as well as the flowers and bow using cardstock that coordinates with the DSP package.  (Note the flower piece is part of the larger image with the vines so I just cut it out several times in different colors and then trimmed them down.  To finish off the flowers I added a black faced dot to the center of each from the Faceted Dots package.

The greeting is from the Blended Seasons stamp set and was stamped in Basic Black and to finish off the card I cut out the bow with a die, also from the framelit set, using Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

You could use this same layout and change out the greeting for whatever you need and be guaranteed a card to impress!

Blended Seasons Wedding Greetings!

Good afternoon!  Thinking outside of the box is a great way to find additional uses for a stamp set or product.  Today I'm back with another card using the Blended Seasons bundle but used it to make this pretty wedding card.  This card also gives you a sneak peak of a product being released in the upcoming Holiday Catalog.

I started with Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the cardbase and used Whisper White for the cardfront.  I used the Big Shot and Stitched Seasons Framelits to cut both label pieces and then embossed the outside piece using the Big Shot and Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder (from the upcoming Holiday Catalog).

I used the Blended Seasons stamp set and stamped the bells in Versamark ink on Whisper White and heat embossed it using the Heat Tool and Silver Embossing Powder before cutting them out with a framelit and then colored the ribbon part on the bell using the Soft Sea Foam Stampin' BlendsDimensionals were used to attach both bells to the card.

The greeting was stamped in Soft Sea Foam Ink and I finished off the card with a bow tied with 1/8" Whisper White Sheer Ribbon that I also colored with the Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends.

I love how this card turned out and a fun thing would be to make the card to match the color theme of an individuals wedding, making it personalized.  Don't forget the stamp set and coordinating framelits included in the Blended Seasons bundle are a limited release and will only be available this month, while supplies last so if you've fallen in love with these items as much as I have, don't wait, place your order today so you don't miss out on adding these items to your stampin' collection!

Hand Stamped Sentiment Color Challenge #296: Blended Seasons

Good morning!  I'm back today and sharing another card using the Blended Seasons bundle and since we've had so much dark, rainy weather this weeks
Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge is perfect to make something bright and cheery.

I used Daffodil Delight cardstock for the cardbase and then used Granny Apple Green cardstock for the cardfront which was embossed with the Big Shot and Simple Stripes Embossing Folder.  Next I added a piece of Blueberry Bushel Designer Series Paper from the In Color 2018-2020 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack.

I used the medium label die from the Stitched Seasons Framelits to cut the label out of Whisper White cardstock.  I used pieces from the same framelits set to cut the leaves and swirls out.  I used the Blended Seasons stamp set and stamped one of the flowers in Momento Black ink and then colored the flower with Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends as well as the Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Write Marker before cutting the flower out with Paper Snips (I did use dimensionals to attach the flower).

Before attaching the die cut piece to the cardfront I stamped the greeting in Basic Black ink and then finished off the card with a bow tied from Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

This bundle is jammed packed with stamps and dies to really help dress up any project you have without taking a lot of extra effort and this card is one that is sure to put a smile on anyone's face and isn't that why we send cards?  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with use and share what you create using this color combination.
