SSINKspiration Stamp Set Focus: Sheltering Tree

Good morning!  Fall has definitely arrived but I was really hoping we would have some more comfortable weather before the cold of winter arrives (like we experienced this weekend).  Today over on the Stylin Stampin' INKspiration blog we're showcasing the Sheltering Tree stamp set and I decided to channel the beautiful fall weather for my card using this stamp set.  I love stamp sets that you get extra mileage from and this one really fits the bill since you can us it for all seasons, perfect.

I started with Soft Suede cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Hello Honey cardstock that I embossed with the Big Shot and Polka Dot embossing folder (I did lightly sponge all over the embossed piece to tone down the color and make the embossing pop.  Next I added a piece of designer series paper from the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper and matted it with Tangelo Twist cardstock.

For the stamped image I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and punched the top using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.  I used the Sheltering Tree stamp set to stamp the fall scene on the tag and then used some Mossy Meadow Stitched Cotton Ribbon for the tag and then used dimensionals to attach the tag to the cardfront.  The greeting is from the stamp stamp set and was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink.

This is such a great stamp set to have in your toolbox since you can use it for all occasions and right now you can save 15% on all stamp sets (including this one) if you purchase it by October 23.   I know I was able to get several stamp sets from my wish list during this sale, you should take advantage as well!
