Good morning, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend! Our weekend was full of baseball, neighbors, and friends, and relaxing, so perfect but I will admit I'm beyond exhausted. It's the second Monday of the month which means it's time for a new sketch challenge over on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog and Jenn really gave us a good sketch that is nice and versatile. The cardbase is Hello Honey and I added a piece of Sahara Sand card stock that was embossed with the
Big Shot and the Alphabet Press Embossing Folder (I also sponged all over the cardstock with Sahara Sand ink to help really make the letters pop).
For the greeting I used the stamp from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit (I love that the stamps in the kits are unique and you can only get them by being a member and do you know if you buy a prepaid subscription you can add those to workshop and party orders now and earn hostess benefits? Plus subscriptions for 6 and 12 months and you save over a monthly subscription) stamped in Hello Honey on Whisper White Cardstock. I matted that with Blackberry Bliss cardstock. The two stars are from the Something to Say stamp set and are punched out with the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch and then attached with dimensionals so they pop off the card. The little flags are from Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack (love all the different patterns) and were punched out with the Banner Punch.
You'll notice I did decide to flip the sketch on it's side, it's all about inspiration and then showing your take on based on the idea and it's fun to see so many great options. We would love for you to come and play along with us, time to get those fingers inky!
