Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #FabFri177: Tropical Chic (30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 29)

Good morning!

Hopefully you have survived all the Thanksgiving fun and carb coma and are now relaxing (or maybe shopping!)  I was out last night and early this morning working helping cross those items off the Christmas gift list and plan on spending the day relaxing.  We have just a couple more days left in the month and a couple more cards in this years gratitude challenge.  Today I decided to play along with the Fab Friday sketch challenge for this pretty all occasion card.

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then used Night of Navy cardstock to mat a piece of Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

For the greeting I used the Tropical Chic stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock before fussy cutting it out with Paper Snips and attaching it with Mini Dimensionals.  As a final element on the card I took a piece of Gold 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon and colored it with a Rococo Rose Dark Stampin' Blends Marker and then tied a bow with the twine from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.

I can't get over how beautiful this DSP is, very realistic and the burlap background add some additional texture.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 15

Good morning!

So excited that it’s Friday and we’re ready for lots of fun.  I’m heading to Richmond to run a race and Aidan has marching band and a scout hike planned.  Before all the fun gets started I wanted to share today’s gratitude card.  This is another quick and easy one that looks extra fancy thanks to dues and specialty designer series paper.

I started with Rococo Rose cardstock for the cardbase and then used Merry Merlot cardstock as a mat for the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper (this paper is stunning!)

Next I took a piece of Vellum cardstock and cut a circle with the Layering Circles Dies.  The greeting was cut with the Thank You Die and Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I finished it off with stamping with the A Big Thank You stamp using Merry Merlot ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and then punched out with the Classic Label Punch and attached with mini dimensionals.

This cardstock is perfection and so easy to make, love it!
