Joyful Tidings

Good morning,

Sundays always seem a little better when you know you don't have to go to work the next day, haha!  I have lots of fun planned today but I wanted to start the day with sharing another fun Christmas card.  For the next several days I'm going to share cards all using the Joyful Tidings stamp set, I loved it as soon as I saw it in this years Holiday catalog (it's currently on the Last Chance List so now is the time to try to grab it if you love it as much as I do).

This card starts with a cardbase using Basic Beige cardstock and then I added apiece of Gathering Together Speciality DSP as the cardfront and matted it with Pecan Pie cardstock.  Around this piece I did tie some Old Olive Linen Thread from the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack.

I stamped the wreath image on Basic White cardstock and colored it in with Stampin' Blends before cutting it out with the Nested Essentials Dies.  The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink.  This whole piece was attached with dimensionals and the card was finished off with some Streaked Dots.

I love the non-traditional Christmas colors with this card which are just perfect with the oranges in the wreath!
