Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #652: Words for the Season

Good morning,

Boy is this month moving quickly, just about a week away from Christmas.  I decided to take a break from holiday happenings to play along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew weekly challange and create a non-Christmas card.  

I love the variety of options of patterns in the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper, some lean heavily to Christmas while others are move neutral.  For this card I started with Cloud Cover cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper as the cardfront which was matted with Secret Sea cardstock.  Next I took another pattern of DSP and added it as a flag along the left side of the cardfront.

For the greeting I used the Words for the Season stamp set and stamped the greeting in Secret Sea ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Traditional Labels Dies.  I used the Peaceful Garden stamp set to stamp the little floral image using Cloud Cover Ink (I used the Stampin' Blends to color on the stamp to get this color).  

The greeting was attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The final touch is a bow tied with the beautiful Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged 1/2" Ribbon.
