Stamping 411 Challenge

Happy Monday!

After an exhausting and fun weekend of stamping and gardening I decided that I wanted to start taking part in design challenges to test my creativity. I found this great new challenge, Stamping 411, run by some great ladies who are some of my frequent blog visits so what better way to start out.

My entry for challenge #2 uses 2 stamp sets that we'll be saying goodbye to at the end of the month. I used Happy Heart Day for the main image and Say it with Scallops for the greating. My cardbase is Riding Hood Red and I used the Washington Apple DSP (what better paper since I'm from the great state of Washington to tie all the colors together. I used the same designer paper to stamp the elephant image on and cut it out with my Paper Snips (love to use designer paper instead of coloring in large images!) I also used a bit of the Pumpkin Pie Ric Rac Ribbon from the Pig Tails Ribbon Originals. It seems like I know a lot of graduates this year and I think this card definately fits the occasion.

This challenge was a lot of fun and I hope you like my first entry and stay tuned to see what I can come up with next!
