30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 2

Good morning,

I have to say, Stampin' Up! has some amazing Designer Series Paper options which are perfect for letting them be the star of your creations, like I did with today's card.

I started with Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Petal Pink cardstock that was embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder for the cardfront.  To this piece I added a strip of DSP from the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper pack and tied some Linen Thread around it.

The main image is another pattern of paper from the same DSP pack that was cut out with the Everyday Arches dies.  The greeting is stamped directly on the DSP using the Everyday Arches stamp set (you can buy the stamp set and dies as a bundle and save 10%!)  This whole piece was attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.

The scene on this paper is lovely and you can get a totally different feel to the card just by changing out the print and coordinating colors which makes for easy crafting for multiples!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 1

Good morning,

It's November so it's time for this years gratitude challenge and I'm so excited to share 30 days worth of gratitude projects with you.  I decided to start off the month with a quick and easy card, perfect for any time of year.

I started with Petal Pink cardstock for the cardbase and used Night of Navy cardstock for the cardfront.  On this piece I heat embossed the greeting using the Label Me Grateful stamp set (an Online Exclusive) and the WOW! Metallics Embossing Powder, this is the copper color.

I used a piece of the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper (there's one pattern that has a large frame and I cut it down to the size of cardfront) and used my Paper Snips to cut around the pattern to make this perfect piece for on top of the cardfront.  I did use dimensionals to pop this layer up.

This card is so fun and I love the mix of florals and metallics!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #641: Fright Night

Good morning,

It's been awhile but I'm back in the studio and crafting and have lots of share.  Today I'm playing along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge with this fun Halloween card.  I have to admit, the Spooky Sweet Speciality Designer Series Paper is jam packed with goodies that makes crafting super easy, on top of patterned paper there are sheets of die cut pieces, as well as patterns that have tags and predesigned cardfronts, so awesome!

For this card I started with Smoky Slate cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Basic Black cardstock that's embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing folder.  Next I added three strips of paper (2 of which were patterns printed on the paper) and cut to make flags  I added another piece of coordinating DSP along the top with the cute candy pattern and wrapped a piece of Petunia Pop 1/4" Iridescent Ribbon around the cardfront.

Next I punched out a circle in Basic White cardstock and sponged around the edge with Basic Black ink.  The cute little character is from one of the patterns of DSP and I just fussy cut him out with Paper Snips before attaching with dimensionals.  I added the bat and candy corns (also die cuts in the pack) with dimensionals.  The greeting from the Fright Night stamp set and I stamped directly on one of the pieces of DSP and then fussy cut it out out before attaching with dimensionals.  The final touch was to add a few of the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers as fun accent.

I absolute love how this card turned out and while it looks really fancy there is only one stamped piece and the rest came from the same package of DSP so it's perfect for easy crafting.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to share with us what you create.

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #631: Fright Night

Good morning!

It may be the middle of summer but I've been itching to use some of the newly released Halloween products so I decided to use them for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Anything but a Card Challenge.  I love to gift treats for Halloween so I thought using the Suitcase Treat Boxes would be perfect.  I also love the new Spooky Suite Speciality Designer Series Paper since it has lots of fun pieces including die cuts and tag elements that are perfect for packaging.  

I cut one piece of the DSP and added it as the base on all 4 sides of the box.  Then I took the Fright Night stamp set and stamped the greetings on the green tag piece.  I added a couple of the candy corn die cuts using dimensionals for a little added dimension.

I used the Fright Night Dies to cut out the little black spider as well as the "Boo" using Silver Foil Paper.  The Shimmer Star Foam Stickers make a fun additional element for a pop of color and I finished the box off with tying some ribbon around the suitcase handle (Petunia Pop 1/4" Iridescent Ribbon and Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon that I colored with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker).

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #624: Textured Notes

Good morning,

Today I'm playing along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge which is CASE the catalog, with twist.  When I was looking through the catalog the card on Page 58 really reminded me of a fancy picture frame with an oil painting so that's what I decided to go with.

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the base and then added a piece of DSP from the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper (love all the dimension in this paper).  Next I took a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and cut the "mat" using the Textured Notes Dies and then cut down a piece of DSP from the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper pack (now I'll admit there was a lot of paper waste to get the image how I wanted it but it was worth it!).  I then used dimensionals to attach this piece to the cardfront.

The greeting is from the Textured Notes stamp set and was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Highland Heather ink before being punched out with a 1 3/4" Circle Punch and trimming off the top.  I again used dimensionals to add the greeting.  The final touch was to add some Adhesive Backed Textured Dots.

I love how this card turned out, the textures really let the image be the star!  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create.
