Welcome Easter Bunny Greetings!

Happy Friday!

Man am I looking forward to the weekend, not only for a break from work craziness but we have Easter to look forward to and some family fun (even if at home!)  Today I'm sharing another Easter card that I designed using the Welcome Easter set that we made in last months Just Cards Class (I sure to miss the stamping time with friends and hoping we are back at it soon!)

I used a lot of the same products I have for the other cards shared this week and I love the wide variety of colors and prints in the Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Pack so you can get completely different looks without buying lots of stuff.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #PCC377: Welcome Easter

Good morning!

Easter week is here, and even though our celebrations this year won't look or feel like those in the past that doesn't mean we can't do what we can to celebration family and traditions.  This week I'm showcasing the Welcome Easter stamp set and today am playing along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge for this cute card.

This card uses Petal Pink cardstock for the cardbase and the designer series paper is from the Best Dressed 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack (love all the fun spring themed prints, perfect for this time of year!)  I used the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder to emboss the strip of Lovely Lipstick piece of cardstock.

For the main stamped image I used the Welcome Easter stamp set and stamped the bunny and grass images in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out with the Stitched Shapes dies.  I used my Stampin' Blends to color it in (coloring is so therapeutic, especially now!) and attached the circle to the cardfront with dimensionals.

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and (I stamped it twice to stack the greeting versus having it long) was stamped on Petal Pink cardstock before being punched out with the 1" Circle Punch.  I used a 1 1/4" Circle Punch to cut a mat out of Old Olive cardstock and I used dimensionals to attach this element as well.  To finish off the card I added a bow tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine and an enamel dot from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots set.

I had so much fun making this card and it just screams spring time fun!  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create using this sketch.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #PCC374: Welcome Easter

Good morning!

Things are very chaotic right now as we're adjusting hourly to changes, hubby and I have both move to working from home for the indefinite future.  Despite everything that's going on I'm also looking forward and Easter will be here soon so I decided to use this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge to get a head start on my Easter cards.  I actually spent this past weekend coloring lots of images from the Welcome Easter set, these little critters are so cute!

I used Daffodil Delight cardstock for the cardbase and then took a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and embossed it with the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.  There are so many beautiful floral images in the Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack so I used two different prints on this card before wrapping a piece of Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile Ribbon.

The cute little chick was stamped in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock before being colored with Stampin' Blends and cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I added a strip of Lovely Lipstick cardstock behind the circle which was attached with dimensionals.  The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and was stamped on Mint Macaron cardstock using Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch.  Of course I wanted to add a little bling so I added some rhinestones as the perfect sparkling touch.

The rich, bright colors aren't what you normally find for Easter but it certainly works for spring, which I love.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create using this sketch.
