Because school supply items are included in this sales tax holiday, the list of items below will be state tax-free during the holiday period. I want to remind you of one thing to take advantage of the tax free benefit, say for example you want to order 10 packages of Snail Refill, since the ceiling for the tax free is $20 per item if you enter the Snail code and a quantity of 10, your total would be $60 so the system would charge tax.  You would need to enter the quantity (in this case 3) so that your total is under $20 but you can enter as many times as you want.  Does that make sense?  If not please give me a call and I can explain and help you out.

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #631: Fright Night

Good morning!

It may be the middle of summer but I've been itching to use some of the newly released Halloween products so I decided to use them for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Anything but a Card Challenge.  I love to gift treats for Halloween so I thought using the Suitcase Treat Boxes would be perfect.  I also love the new Spooky Suite Speciality Designer Series Paper since it has lots of fun pieces including die cuts and tag elements that are perfect for packaging.  

I cut one piece of the DSP and added it as the base on all 4 sides of the box.  Then I took the Fright Night stamp set and stamped the greetings on the green tag piece.  I added a couple of the candy corn die cuts using dimensionals for a little added dimension.

I used the Fright Night Dies to cut out the little black spider as well as the "Boo" using Silver Foil Paper.  The Shimmer Star Foam Stickers make a fun additional element for a pop of color and I finished the box off with tying some ribbon around the suitcase handle (Petunia Pop 1/4" Iridescent Ribbon and Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon that I colored with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker).
