SSINKspiration Card Sketch SSINKCS50: Picture Perfect Birthday

Good morning!  After an amazing evening watching the Superbowl and cheering on our Mighty Philadelphia Eagles to their first Championship it was tough to get up but it's time to start the new week which includes a little crafting fun with this months SSINKspiration card sketch challenge.  I decided to use the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper as the start of this card since every time I grab that pack I'll admit I just wasn't feeling it and always put it back unused but this time I focused on the geometric prints in the pack with are much more neutral for my taste and came up with this fun birthday card.

I started with Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, I love the neutral background adding a subtle texture.  Next I added two pieces of the DSP from the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Pack and then wrapped a piece of Crushed Curry 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon and Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine around the center before attaching the cardfront to the cardbase.

For the main stamped image I used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and made this fun birthday greeting, complete with a party horn and confetti.  It was matted with Crushed Curry and Emerald Envy cardstock before being attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The final touch was to add a double bow tied with Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine.

This is such a fun stamp set, I like being able to build and create different birthday images and the photopolymer stamps make lining everything up a breeze.  This card is sure to brighten someone's birthday!  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing using the same sketch for inspiration and then we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create!
