I used Smoky Slate cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock that was embossed with the Big Shot and Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder as the cardfront.
For the main stamped image I stamped this cheeky little fellow on Whisper White cardstock using Momento Black ink and then colored him in with the Stampin' Blends (I really do love these markers!!) Once I had finished coloring I cut out the image using the Big Shot and Layering Squares Framelits. I used the same framelits to cut a scalloped square mat using Basic Black cardstock. Before attaching the piece to the cardfront I added a piece of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon behind the square. Dimensionals were used to attach the stamped piece.
The final touch was to add the greeting which I stamped on Daffodil Delight cardstock using Bermuda Bay ink and then cut it out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits (I used dimensionals on this piece as well).
I have to say, the more I used this stamp set the more I fall in love with it, it's light hearted and can be used for many different occasions. Of course I know I've said it before but I'm really enjoying coloring with the Stampin' Blends these days so this gives me a little bit of stress relief which is perfection! Also this guy reminds me of a Disney character, haha!!
