30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 7

Good morning,

I'm back and sharing another thank you card today that uses the same DSP as yesterday's card for more design options.

This card has a Pecan Pie cardbase and then a piece of the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper that's matted with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.

Next I used the Greetings of the Season Dies to cut this tag with the cute deer DSP.  The greeting is from the Humble Home and was stamped and then colored in with Pecan Pie Blends and the stamped piece was also run through the same die so it had the matching stitching around the bottom.

The final touch was to add a piece of Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4" Satin Ribbon and then tie a bow around the ribbon with Linen Thread.

This card is just lovely and the antique imagine totally reminds me of holidays as a child!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 6 (Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #595) So Sincere

Good morning,

I'm back with today's gratitude card and decided to us this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge for inspiration as well as some fun new products.

The cardbase is Pecan Pie and then I layered Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler cardstock (that was embossed with the new Modern Herringbone 3D Embossing Folder.

Next I cut three pieces of DSP from the Sentiment Christmas Designer Series Paper (love all the patterns in this package!).  The greeting is from the So Sincere stamp set and was stamped in Versarmak on Pretty Peacock before embossing it with the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (these new metallic embossing powders are awesome and give such a great look!) and then I cut the greeting out with the Christmas Labels dies and attached it to the cardfront with dimensionals.

The final touch is was to add a few Pecan Pie pieces from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.

This card will be perfect for sending thanks during the holiday season and I can't wait to use it!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 5

Good morning,

Today's a big day with the elections, I'm excited to get out to vote, it is my son's first time voting so we've been excited to help him through the process.

I'm back with another gratitude card and today's card a fun masculine card using the Grassy Grove stamp set.  the card starts with a card base of Basic White Thick Cardstock and then I added a piece of DSP from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper pack that was matted with Night of Navy cardstock.

The main stamped image is on Basic White cardstock and I just build the scene with all the different stamps in the set and then sponged around the edges.  I matted this with Early Espresso ink and then wrapped some Linen Thread around the piece before attaching it to the cardfront with dimensionals.

I was so happy with how this card turned out and this deer is just the cutest!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 4

Good morning and happy Monday,

We have a crisp fall day in store for us today which I enjoy and fits perfect with the card I designed for today.

The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder is an Online Exclusive that was released last year and is an unsung hero.  As soon as I saw it I was trying to figure out the best way to show case all it's beauty, the answer...gold foil!

This card starts with Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase.  Then I took a piece of Gold Foil and embossed it with the embossing folder (check out all those leaves!!) and matted it with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White.  I added a small strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock before the greeting before attaching it with dimensionals.  The final touches were a bow tied with Linen Thread and a couple of Pecan Pie Dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.

I definitely did the happy dance with this card, love the simplicity and just letting the gold leaves take center stage.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 3

Good morning,

Happy Sunday!  I'm excited that today is December Daily prep day so I'm planning on spending the day getting crafty getting some work done on my album this year.  Before all that fun begins I wanted to hop and share today's gratitude card, which of course is Christmas themed.

I used Mossy Meadow cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock that was embossed and then added a piece of Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper (this pack is awesome as it has patterns for all occasions!).  I used some Crem 1/4" Woven Ribbon as a belly band.

The greeting is from the same My Small Business stamp set I used yesterday (stamped in Mossy Meadow on Basic White cardstock before cutting out with the Stitched Shapes dies.  I took a piece of Gold Foil and cut it out with the Greetings of the Season dies for a fun accent.  The final touch was to add a few dots from the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries (this are so fun!)  The greeting piece was attached with dimensionals.
