30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 4

Good morning and happy Monday,

We have a crisp fall day in store for us today which I enjoy and fits perfect with the card I designed for today.

The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder is an Online Exclusive that was released last year and is an unsung hero.  As soon as I saw it I was trying to figure out the best way to show case all it's beauty, the answer...gold foil!

This card starts with Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase.  Then I took a piece of Gold Foil and embossed it with the embossing folder (check out all those leaves!!) and matted it with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White.  I added a small strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock before the greeting before attaching it with dimensionals.  The final touches were a bow tied with Linen Thread and a couple of Pecan Pie Dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.

I definitely did the happy dance with this card, love the simplicity and just letting the gold leaves take center stage.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 23

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!  So excited to be spending time with friends and family for the next few days.

Of course I didn't want to leave you hanging so I wanted to hop on for a quick gratitude card that uses my absolutely favorite pattern from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (it's so stunning it really can be the star of the show!)

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then matted the DSP with Basic Black cardstock.  I added a coordinating strip of DSP down the one side to add some sparkle.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock before cutting it out with the coordinating dies and attaching to the card with dimensionals.

The finishing touches was a loop of copper ribbon from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack and some Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots.

If this card doesn't make you think of fall I don't know what will, it's perfect!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 18

Good morning!

We had so much fun at a Friendsgiving event last evening, love getting together with friends for good food and good times!  With Thanksgiving less than a week away there are a few more fall themed cards I'm excited to share, so I hope you enjoy them.

This card really lets the All About Autumn Designer Series paper be the start and these phographic prints are stunning.

For this card I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock to matt the DSP that was cut into 3 panels covering the full cardfront.

I did wrap pieces of both ribbons from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack around the cardfront and let it anchor the greeting and provide a little hint of sparkle.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Early Espresso ink before being cut out with the coordinating dies and being attached with dimensionals.  The final touch was adding some Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots for bling!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 12

Good morning!

It's only fitting after spending 2 hours yesterday cleaning up the yard and leaves that today's gratitude card has a leaf theme.  I made this card at a recent craft retreat hosted by my friend Michelle Suite (love the design Michelle!) and wanted to share it and it uses the Autumn Leaves Bundle.

This card uses Pecan Pie for the cardbase and Crumb Cake for the cardfront.  We stamped the leaves on the Crumb Cake layer, then embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and then lightly ran an inkpad with White Craft ink on it to highlight the embossing (so fun!)

After stamping the leaf both Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla for the main design piece we added flecks of ink with the Stampin Blends Pen, added gold pearls to it from the Festive Pearls and popped it up with dimensionals.  The greeting uses the same colors and is from the same stamp set.

This card has so much texture and dimension, you have to just look at it from all angles to really appreciate it.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 6

Good morning!

What a fun weekend, friends, fall, football, and relaxing...just perfect!  It's the start of a new week and I'm excited to see what it brings.  I'm also going strong with this years gratitude challenge and today am sharing another fall themed card (I've gotten such a head start on my Thanksgiving cards, I love it!)

This card starts with a cardbase of Early Espresso cardstock and then adds a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that's embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.  I added a belly band of DSP from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (have you ordered this yet?  This paper is in low stock so don't wait if you want to add this to your crafting stash) that's matted Cajun Craze cardstock.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and is stamped in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock before being cut out with the coordinating dies and attached to the card with dimensionals.  I cut several leaves using the same die set out of Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, and a Mossy Meadow DSP print for leaves to tuck behind the greeting.  The final touch was to add a few of the Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots (these are so pretty and have speckles of gold!)

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 4

Good morning!

Back to reality and it's fall and cold here which is putting me in a mood for another fall card for today's gratitude card.

The All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is absolutely stunning and I can't seem to stop using it (warning you now but you will fall in love just as I have!).

This card uses Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then took a piece of the DSP (that looks like woodgrain) and matted it with Cajun Craze cardstock.  I added a little strip of another pattern of the DSP (with foil accents).

This third piece of DSP, with the fall scene just pulls you in and makes you want to take a walk in the forest.  The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies before attaching to the card with dimensionals.  The final touch, is a bow tied with Linen Thread.

This card just screams "sweater weather", haha!  Are you doing any fall activities this weekend?
