Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #548 - Cheers to the Season

Good morning!

I hope things are going well for you during this holiday season.  I'm taking a break from all my festive activities to play along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge it's a nice and simple one, perfect to add your own touch.

For this card I started with a cardbase of Whisper White Thick cardstock before matting a piece of Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper and matting it with Early Espresso cardstock before attaching it to the cardbase.  I took another coordinating piece of DSP (you know how I love my plaid) and matted it also with Early Espresso cardstock and attaching it across the center of the card.

The stamped image is from the Cheers to the Season stamp set and is one of the fun Disinkive stamps with lots of texture and dimension built into the stamp.  It was stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Layering Circles Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out the scalloped circle mat out of Garden Green cardstock before attaching the whole piece to the cardfront with dimensionals.

To finish off the card I added a simple bow tied with the Gold & Very Vanilla 3/8" Satin Edge Ribbon.

This card just screams festive greetings, I love it.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration and we would love for you to play along and share what you create with this sketch.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 23

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!  So excited to be spending time with friends and family for the next few days.

Of course I didn't want to leave you hanging so I wanted to hop on for a quick gratitude card that uses my absolutely favorite pattern from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (it's so stunning it really can be the star of the show!)

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then matted the DSP with Basic Black cardstock.  I added a coordinating strip of DSP down the one side to add some sparkle.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock before cutting it out with the coordinating dies and attaching to the card with dimensionals.

The finishing touches was a loop of copper ribbon from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack and some Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots.

If this card doesn't make you think of fall I don't know what will, it's perfect!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 20

Good morning!

It's Thanksgiving week and I'm so excited we get to see Aidan in just a couple of days as well as spend some quality time with friends who are family.  I decided to embrace the fall feelings for today's gratitude card.

I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then used strips of scrap paper from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (all using the foil accents) and attached it to Very Vanilla cardstock and matted it with Early Espresso cardstock to create a stunning cardfront.

The stamped image is from the Cheers to the Season stamp set (I used this same stamp earlier this month and just decided to change up the colors today).  I used Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink and I just tapped the ink pad directly on the stamp to add different colors before stamping the image on Very Vanilla cardstock.  This piece was matted with Pretty Peacock cardstock and attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.

I added a double bow using Linen Thread to the base of the leaf as a fun accent.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 18

Good morning!

We had so much fun at a Friendsgiving event last evening, love getting together with friends for good food and good times!  With Thanksgiving less than a week away there are a few more fall themed cards I'm excited to share, so I hope you enjoy them.

This card really lets the All About Autumn Designer Series paper be the start and these phographic prints are stunning.

For this card I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock to matt the DSP that was cut into 3 panels covering the full cardfront.

I did wrap pieces of both ribbons from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack around the cardfront and let it anchor the greeting and provide a little hint of sparkle.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock with Early Espresso ink before being cut out with the coordinating dies and being attached with dimensionals.  The final touch was adding some Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots for bling!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 15 (Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #544)

Good morning!

Today I'm playing along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge as fun inspiration for today's gratitude card.

I used Pecan Pie cardstock for the cardbase and then matted a piece of A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper with Pretty Peacock cardstock for the cardfront.

I used a coordinating piece of the DSP and cut it into a tag (I made mine a little shorter so I could see the cute bears in the background!)

The greeting is from the So Sincere stamp set and was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Pretty Peacock ink before being cut out with the Stitched Shapes dies and being attached with dimensionals.

Of course every card, especially at Christmas needs a little bling so for this I used a piece of White 1/2" Iridescent Ribbon as the perfect bow for the top of the tag.

This card is wintery and fun, perfect for sending thankful greeting during the winter.  Also, Stampin' Up! as part of it's Making a Difference program is donating $3.00 from each package of the A Walk in the Forest DSP purchased is donating to charities spreading cheer and providing support to those in need so extra goodness can come when you purchase this paper pack.

Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing using this sketch as inspiration and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 14

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!

Tuesday's always super busy for me at work but I'm trying to get a little bit of creative time each day just to make me happy.  I'm back with today's gratitude card and I'm hopping back to fall as it is the season.  I know the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is sold out but I had some projects already planned so I'll be continuing to share it with you but you can always trade up different paper if you're playing along.

This card uses Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of the DSP with the metallic pattern as the cardfront and matted it with Basic Black cardstock.  I added a coordinating strip of the DSP that looks like a sweater across the center of the card.

I stamped the fall image from the Rustic Crate set on Very Vanilla cardstock using Momento Ink (whenever you're using your Stampin' Blends make sure to stamp the image with Momento Ink so the image doesn't bleed).  After coloring in the image, I cut it out with the coordinating dies as well as cutting the crate pieces out using the die set (so cute!)  I attached the finished crate to a circle cut from Very Vanilla cardstock using the Deckled Circles dies with dimensionals and then stamped thank you before attaching it to the cardfront.

The final touch was to add a few of the Adhesive Backed Speckled Dies for additional sparkle.

This card gives me all the fall feelings, perfect if you're going to a friends for Friendsgiving or other event!
