Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #694: Thanks & Giving

Good morning,

I'm so loving all the fall vibes right now, oh so wonderful.  It's only fitting with everything fall right now I used that as the inspiration for this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge to make one of the Thanksgiving cards, that's on my To Do list.  I also had time to break out the new Stampin' Hot Foil system and thought this was a perfect card to showcase some of this magic.

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Early Espresso cardstock as a mat for the different pieces of DSP from the Autumn Opulence Speciality Designer Series Paper ( I did reverse the layout of the piece just because I thought it worked better for my card).

Next, I used the Stampin' Hot Foil System and the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies to foil and cut out some leaves (using Copper Foil) and also used the Reverse Hot Foil Plate to use the negative image (that's for the Pumpkin Pie leaf).

The greeting is from the Thanks & Giving stamp set and was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink before fussy cutting and attaching with dimensionals.  The final touch was to use some of the Radient Gems and tied a double bow using Linen Thread.

I'm so in love with this card, the foiling is so beautiful in person, it's a bit of effort but so worth it!

Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration, we would love for you to play along and share what you create!
