5 Days of Bewitching Halloween - Day 3

Good morning!  

Are you feeling in the Halloween spirit yet?  I'm a little behind but I dropped off all our Halloween gifts at the post of this morning so spooky greetings and treats are heading to loved ones.  I'm back today with another card using the Bewitching Bundle.

This uses all the same supplies as the previous cards so I'm not going into detail but these witches hats and boots are so fun to color in and any time I get to use the Stampin' Blends it's like a little color therapy.  And don't forget about those stamp sets we get in the Paper Pumpkin kits each month, they are great for other projects once you finish the kits so you get extra fun out of them.

5 Days of Bewitching Halloween - Day 2

Good morning!  

I'm back with another Halloween card using the Bewitched bundle.

Today's card starts with Basic Black cardstock and adds a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock with a piece of   Black & White Designer DSP  across the middle.  I added three pieces of washi tape from the Glitter Washing Four Pack to peek out from behind the circle.

I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Layering Circles Dies and then sponged in Cajun Craze ink and stamped the stars in Basic Black.  This little witches hat was punched out of Basic Black cardstock and used Basic White for the stars that were cut out using the same punch.  The band for this had was again made using the Glitter Washing Four Pack but I lined up the tape vertically to create stripes when I punched.  The hat was attached with dimensionals.

To finish off the card I stamped the greeting from my Paper Pumpkin stamp sets in Pumpkin Pie ink and cut out with the Floral Gallery Dies and attached with dimensionals.  The final touch was to add a few Mat Black Dots as an accent.

This card is so fun and kind of reminds me of Fantasia from Disney, with a Halloween twist!

5 Days of Bewitching Halloween - Day 1

 Good afternoon!  

Whenever I receive the fall mini catalog the first section I look at is Halloween, it comes first in the seasons so I like to see what fun is in store.  I fell in love with the Bewitching stamp set and coordinating punch this year and decided to focus on it for my Halloween crafting.  Starting today I'm going to share a different card made using this set.  Now I will point out, this set does not have any greetings so I went into my Paper Pumpkin stamp stash and used stamps from different kits for the greetings.

Today's card starts with Basic Black cardstock and adds a piece of Pumpkin Pie Gingham DSP from the Gingham Cottage DSP pack.  I added a different pattern in the gray and wrapped a piece of White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon around the DSP and then died a bow with black twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.

This little witches hat is so cute and was colored in with Stampin' Blends and created the glitter band with the Glitter Washing Four Pack and then punched it out with the same punch.  To mat the hat I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and Basic Black cardstock with the Layering Circles Dies (of course I had to add a little spider whose too cute!)

Nuts and Bolts Valentine's Gifts

Happy Valentine's Day!  

I wanted to share a fun collection of treats and a card I made for Aidan for Valentine's day (yes he's 16 but these little robots are just too cute, and really he'll like the treats inside most, haha!)

All these use the Nuts and Bolts stamp set and I used the Stampin' Blends to color the images out.  The designer series paper is the Sweet Talk DSP and cardstock colors were picked to coordinate.  The dies are used are the Stitches Shapes and Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder dies.
