SSINKspiration Harvest: Sheltering Tree

Good afternoon!  After an extended summer we finally had fall arrive today and I'm loving these cooler temps!!  It's only fitting that with today's weather change the SSINKspiration team is sharing harvest inspired projects, now I took a little liberty here and went more fall themed using the Sheltering Tree stamp set to create this beautiful card that looks like your standing in a grove of trees and looking up through all the leaves which are changing colors.

I used Old Olive cardstock for the cardbase and then added a strip of the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and wrapped a piece of 3/16" Braided Linen Trim around the front of the card.

For the stamped image I used Whisper White cardstock and Old Olive, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze, and Merry Merlot ink to make the leaves along with Early Espresso for the greeting and tree branches.  To finish off the card the stamped piece was matted with Cajun Craze cardstock before attaching it to the cardfront.

This is such a quick and easy card but I love the warm fall feelings it evokes.  This is also one of the cards we will be making at this month's Just Cards Class.
