30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 17

Good morning,

This weekend has been a bit of a change since our kiddo came into town at the last minute (which we love!) and then proceeded to hurt himself, haha!  It's great seeing him but bubblewrap may be under the Christmas tree.  Despite all this, I did find a little time to head to the studio to make a card for this months gratitude challenge.

The Trucking Along stamp set and coordinating punch is so awesome for fun, easy cards and when I saw the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper I thought it would be fun to make a card with the truck heading out for a fall drive.

This card uses Cajun Craze cardstock for the cardbase and then Basic Black cardstock was used for a mat for the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper.

Next I stamped the truck image on Basic White ink with Momento Black for the outline and then Balmy Blue makes the color of the truck.  I used Stampin' Blends to color in the tires, bumbers, etc.  Once the truck was cut out with the Trucking Along Builder Punch it was attached to the cardfront with dimensionals.

The greeting for this card is from the So Sincere stamp set and was stamped in Momento Basic Black directly on the DSP.  The final touch was some dots from the Faux Glass Dots.

This card is definitely giving me fall vibes and loving this sentiment which I've never used before.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 30

Good morning!

It's the last day of November, crazy I know!  I've really enjoyed this years gratitude challenge and hope you have enjoyed following along with me and have been inspired to create something yourself.  I decided to end the month with a winter themed card (to match how cold it is here, haha!) using one of my favorite new bundles, Trucking Along!

One again I started with the Basic White Note Cards and Evelopes set (these really are an easy go to item) and then I added a piece of DSP from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (I wanted to get 2 cards out of one piece so I cut it to 3" and then added a little strip of the Real Red Pattern along the left side.

I stamped the truck using the Trucking Along stamp set (2 stamp so once with the outline in Basic Black and a second to fill it in with Real Red) then I colored in the tires with my Stampin' Blends before punching it out with the coordinating punch and attaching it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and was stamp in Night of Navy ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes dies and attaching with dimensionals over a piece of the Real Red & Gold 3/8" Dotted Ribbon (love this!)

This card makes me think of country Christmas which is so fun!

Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #PCC528: Trucking Along

Good morning,

It's July and we can't end the month with celebrating a little Christmas in July.  For this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge I decided to use some of the Online Exclusive products to make this fun Christmas card, while taking a little liberty with the sketch due to the stamps used and their shape, haha!

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then embossed a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock with the Big Shot and Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder.

Next I used the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper and cut strips for a wintery background.

The stamp set used was included in the Trucking Along bundle (the stamp set is still available while the coordinating punch is currently out of stock but will be available in October), I just love this little "red" truck.  I stamped the truck on Basic White cardstock and stamped the body of the truck in Real Red ink.  I used Stampin' Blends to color in the tires and bumper before punching out the truck with the coordinating punch.  The greeting is from the same stamp set, stamped in Real Red ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before being fussy cut out and attached with dimensionals.

To finish off the card I tied a double bow using the 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine (it isn't exactly the same color but it coordinates with the blue tones in the DSP.

I had so much fun making this card and I see lots of these little trucks in my future crafting!  Please check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create using this sketch as inspiration.
