30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 18

Good morning,

It was a fun weekend and so happy to get to see our kiddo a little bit (unplanned trip but so happy!)  Of course I'm back with today's gratitude card and this one was fun because I used most of the same products as the card last Wednesday, this one's just stepped up a bit.

The cardbase is Pecan Pie and I added a piece of designer series paper from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper that's matted with Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I added a belly band of DSP using the pattern on the reverse side of the paper and matted also with Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Note:  between today's card and Wednesday's I used 1 full sheet of the 6"x6" paper.

The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock before being cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I used dimensionals to attach the greeting to the cardfront.

The final touch is a bow tied with Pecan Pie 3/8" Center Stripe Ribbon.

Loving the fall feeling of today's card!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 13 (Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge 596) Something Fancy

Good morning,

Happy Wednesday!  Loving how this weeks going and what we have to look forward to this week, so much fun!  Today I'm playing along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge which was Simple Stamping which fits perfect with my gratitude challenge.

Today's card showcases the Something Fancy stamp set and Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper.

I used Pecan Pie cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that's matted with Mossy Meadow cardstock and then added a strip of the pumpkin DSP down the side.

The greeting is stamped in Cajun Craze ink and I finished off the card with a few green dots from the Faux Glass Dots (these have been my go to embellishment lately, haha!)

This card is nice and simple, perfect for a beginner stamper, or if you need to make multiples of a card!

Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #582: Something Fancy

Good morning,

It seems like summers are the perfect time for birthdays and we have lots of birthday celebrations this time of year so I thought it would be perfect to use this weeks Paper Craft Crew theme challenge to send birthday greetings to a friend.

Simple Stamping is perfect when you want to letter our fabulous designer series paper be the star and the Meandering Meadows Designer Series paper is perfect.

For this card I started with Balmy Blue cardstock for the cardbase and then matted a piece of the DSP (these scenes make me want to visit them) with Basic Black cardstock.

The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and I started by cutting out a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Nested Essentials dies before stamping the greeting in Melon Mambo ink.  I attached the greeting with dimensionals and trimmed the left side of the die cut piece so it fit the cardfront.

I just added a double bow tied with Linen Thread and some pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls as the finishing touch.

This card is perfection!  I love the colors and feelings it brings out.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 30

Good morning!

It's the last day of November, crazy I know!  I've really enjoyed this years gratitude challenge and hope you have enjoyed following along with me and have been inspired to create something yourself.  I decided to end the month with a winter themed card (to match how cold it is here, haha!) using one of my favorite new bundles, Trucking Along!

One again I started with the Basic White Note Cards and Evelopes set (these really are an easy go to item) and then I added a piece of DSP from the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (I wanted to get 2 cards out of one piece so I cut it to 3" and then added a little strip of the Real Red Pattern along the left side.

I stamped the truck using the Trucking Along stamp set (2 stamp so once with the outline in Basic Black and a second to fill it in with Real Red) then I colored in the tires with my Stampin' Blends before punching it out with the coordinating punch and attaching it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and was stamp in Night of Navy ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes dies and attaching with dimensionals over a piece of the Real Red & Gold 3/8" Dotted Ribbon (love this!)

This card makes me think of country Christmas which is so fun!
