Love & Courage

Good morning,

With the holidays over I decided to take this week and share some cards I made using products from the Holiday Mini catalog that I haven't had a chance to share since you only have a week left to order from this catalog.

Today's card uses the Love & Courage stamp set and this one is beautiful (it is also a stamp set that Stampin' Up! will donate $3 from each set sold to charity so that's a double win).  I used Strawberry Slush cardstock for the cardbase and folded it to create a gate fold.  Inside I added a piece of Basic White cardstock.

On the front I added pieces of Pretty in Pink cardstock that were stamped with the ribbon image using Strawberry Slush ink.

For the main image I stamped the greeting/floral image in Strawberry Slush ink on Basic White and matted it with Strawberry Slush cardstock (make sure you only put adhesive on one half of this piece so you can still open up the card, lol!  To finish off the card I added some Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems for a little bling.

I love the single tone color with this card and it's easy to make with just a few supplies!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 8

Good morning,

I'm so excited, we have some dear friends, who used to be neighbors, visiting this weekend so we have a whole weekend of crafty fun ahead of us, whoo hoo!  Before we get started with that I didn't want to miss out on sharing today's gratitude card.

So today's card is a fun fold card that's super simple.  I started with Early Espresso cardstock for the cardbase which folds over in the front by 1" and then a piece of Gathering Together Designer Series Paper makes up the rest of the cardfront (but it's trimmed down slightly to match the card insert which is 4" x 5.25".

Next I used the Amber Autumn stamp set to stamp the acorn bundle and colored it with Stampin' Blends before cutting it out using the coordinating dies.

This piece was attached to a Crumb Cake circle cut with the Stitched Shapes dies using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set using Cajun Craze ink and tied a bow using Old Olive Thread from the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread pack.  The final touch was to add some of the Streaked Dots embellishments for a little bling!

This card is so fun, the plaid with the colored image, screams fall!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 16

Good morning,

Oh I love the weekends, Happy Saturday!  Today I'm sharing a gorgeous card I created for a recent class.  As soon as I saw the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper and coordinating Citrus Blooms Bundle it reminded me of our visit to Capri last year and had to have it.

This card starts with Night of Navy for the cardbase and I cut 2" off the right side of the front for a fun peekaboo effect.  The inside of the card as Basic White cardstock and a strip of the DSP along the side.

For the front of the card I added a different piece of the DSP to the left side and then created a front panel (that overhangs the shortened front using a third piece of DSP matted with Daffodil Delight cardstock.  I wrapped a piece of Night of Navy & Gold 1/2" Glittered Ribbon around the DSP and then tied it in a knot.

The greeting is from the Citrus Blooms stamp set and was stamped in Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes dies and attaching to the cardfront with dimensionals.

This card, I just love it!

2018 Eichfeld Christmas Card: Timeless Tidings

Merry Christmas!  I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day with friends and family.  Now that our Christmas cards should have all arrived I wanted to share our family Christmas card for the year.  While my initial plan was to make something easier than last years (oh all the watercoloring and die cuts, haha!)  so I decided to go with a fun fold and decided the interlocking gate fold would be perfect.  Of course using the Timeless Tidings stamp set and adding the poinsettia and greens that were colored with Stampin' Blends and then hand cut our (times 100) all made it a bit more complicated but really loved the end result (of course the foil designer series paper added the bling factor!)

Here's the inside of the card where we added this years family picture.

Hope you enjoy and have a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a wonderful 2019!

SSINKspiration Celebrations: Picture Perfect Birthday

Good afternoon!  There are so many celebrations, that we get to experience all year long, the first of which comes to mind is birthdays so when the SSINKspiration design team decided to focus on celebrations I decided to make a birthday card (we all have birthdays!)  I also decided to do a fun fold with this card where the front is cut short so you can see the inside of the card, giving you a perfect time to decorate the inside of the card.

For this card I used Pool Party cardstock for the cardbase and Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card which I used the Picture Perfect Birthday to stamp a row of birthday candles.

On the front of the card I added a piece of designer series paper from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper package and wrapped a piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon around the DSP and tied a knot.  For the greeting I used the same stamp set and stamped the greeting in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then after cutting it out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits I used Berry Burst, Pool Party, and Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp the confetti and then matted it with a scallop circle cut out of Basic Black cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelits and Big Shot.  I used dimensionals to attach the greeting and added them only to the top so it could overlap with the inside of the card.

This is such a fun card and perfect way to celebrate someone's special day!
