30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 15

Good morning,

Sometimes we have lots of time to make very detailed and fancy cards and other times we need something quick and easy.  Today is one of those days.

I love that the Trusty Tools stamp set carried over into the current Annual Catalog but a lot of cards made with it are very detailed with lots of die cut pieces and coloring, today's card has none of that.

I used Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase and then Basic White for the cardfront which is matted with Basic Black cardstock.  I stamped the paint brushes and then used the coordinating stamp to add the color.  The brush strokes were a little tricky but I used the outline paint brush stamp and just inked the bottom and then flipped the stamp so the edge of the stamp was in the solid color and the brush strokes were below (hope that makes sense).

Love the clean lines and you could change up the colors for the occasion or person you're giving this to.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 14

Good morning,

When I saw the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set released as an Online Exclusive, I knew I had to have it.  Love the images but I will admit, they are much larger than I was picturing, but they make the perfect focal point for a card.

Today's card starts with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece Woven Textures Designer Series Paper as the cardfront.  I stamped the main image on Basic White cardstock and then colored it in with Stampin' Blends before cutting it out with the Everyday Arches Dies.

The greeting is from the Label Me Grateful stamp set and was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before fussy cutting it out and attaching with dimensionals.  The final touch, was to add a few of the Low Profile Sparkle Dots for some bling.

This card was so fun to make!  I did stamp several images and packed them along with my Blends on a recent trip so I could color in the hotel when I had some down time and just finished the card when I got back, which was perfect.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 13

Good morning,

Decided to change things up for today's gratitude card and go with a more spring feeling card using the Storybook Friends bundle (which is on the last chance list).

For this card I started with Basic Beige cardstock for the cardbase and added a piece of Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper that was matted with Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Next I used a strip of DSP from the Storybook Moments Speciality Designer Series Paper which was also matted with Mossy Meadow.

For the main image I stamped the cute little bunny and colored it in with Stampin' Blends before cutting out with the coordinating dies.  I used a piece of Basic White cardstock that was cut using the Spotlight on Nature dies as the frame and stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink.  This whole piece was attached with dimensionals and finished off with a bow tied from Linen Thread.

This is such a fun card, love all the different patterns that add texture.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 12 (Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge #647)

Good morning,

Oh boy has the cold arrived this week.  I have to say, I really enjoy when we have a long fall so I can enjoy all the fall colors and leaves changing.  It's this season that's the inspiration for this weeks Paper Craft Crew color challenge and my card for today.

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Basic Black cardstock as the mat for the cardfront.  I made the cardfront using Basic White cardstock and embossed with Black Embossing Powder and the Etched Leaves stamp set.  Next, I used my stampin' sponge to color the cardstock using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive ink, love the end results!  I added a strip of DSP from the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series paper which was also matted with Basic Black cardstock.  I used a piece of Gold Striped 3/8" Mesh Ribbon to tie around the cardfront and then added a piece as a knot.

For the greeting I used the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing folder and Crumb Cake cardstock.  I inked the folder with Cajun Craze ink before embossing so the color is embedded in the design on the cardstock and then used the coordinating die to cut the piece out.  The green circle is Old Olive cardstock that was cut using the Spotlight on Nature Dies and I added a circle from the same DSP pack for a fun background behind the greeting.  The whole piece was attached with dimensionals to finish off the card.

I absolutely love how this card turned out and the embossing and sponge effect is perfect for fall.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create using this challenge.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge 2025: Day 11

Good morning,

I'm back with today's gratitude card and once again I'm letting the DSP be the star today.  The Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper is a sleeper in my opinion, it's hard to see how amazing it is in the catalog but once you see it in person it's just stunning.

I started with Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and added a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock that was embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  Next I picked the piece of DSP with the boat and shore scene and trimmed it just so to make the focal piece and matted it with Night of Navy cardstock.

The greeting is from The Right Words stamp set and was stamped in Pecan Pie ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and attaching with dimensionals.  Some Irregular Weave 3/8" Ribbon and Low Profile Sparkle Dots are the perfect accents to finish off the card.

Love how this card turned out and it has a masculine vibe in case I want to give it to a guy in my life.
