Good morning and Happy Thursday! This week is flying by and the weekend will be here before we know it. It's amazing how as soon as school started and September arrived the weather has cooled down and fall is rapidly approaching (I even got all my fall and Halloween decorations up in the house), I love it! It's the second Thursday so it's time for this month's Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog hop and this month designers are so excited to be sharing lots of projects guaranteed to get you ready for fall.

So I decided to focus on Halloween and all the fun that it offers. When first saw the Holiday catalog at convention as soon as I saw the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set I knew I had to have it and it would be so much fun so this set is the focus of my projects for this month's hop.
My first project is a card (I always send Halloween cards to family so I need to start working on them). I started with Crushed Curry for the cardbase and sponged Basic Black around the end to soften up the yellow. Next I added the Whisper White layer and I added a strip of DSP from the
Motley Monsters Designer Series paper, matted it with Rich Razzleberry cardstock and wrapped some
Basic Black Baker's Twine. I stamped the words along the edge and used
Stampin' Write Markers to color the witches shoes and socks before stamping. For the cauldron, witches dress, and hat I stamped them on a scrap piece of paper, cut them out with
Paper Snips before attaching them to the card front with
dimensionals. The greeting was stamped and punched out with the
Oval Punch and matted with the
Scalloped Oval punch and I sponged around the cardstock. Isn't she cute????
Of course I had to make a matching treat and I decided to use the July Paper Pumpkin Kit as the base. These little striped boxes are perfect and the kit came with Whisper White satin ribbon so all I needed was a tag. I used the
Angled Tag Topper Punch to create the tag (do you know if you cut a piece of cardstock 1 3/4" inch wide and center it in the punch you'll have a perfect mat and insert for your tag. This is pretty straight forward, I used several images from the
Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set and cut out the bat (sponged around the edge with Rich Razzleberry ink) and attached it to the tag with
dimensionals. I used some of the awesome
White and Tangelo Twist Two-Tone Trim to attach the tag to the box bow. After I tied it untwisted the trim so it was nice and stringy a fun effect.
Here's another view of the box.
These projects are super cute and sure to be a hit. I hope I've given you some inspiration to start working on all your Halloween (or fall projects) and continue on the hop for lots of additional inspiration, you're heading to stop #3, Darcy at
