Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Well we survived our latest snow storm and thankfully the kiddos are heading back to school so things can start to get back to normal, I know we're all thinking this but it really is time for spring. Today I decided to play along with the Create with Connie and Mary Color challenge and had a lot of fun with this light and springy colors. I started by using Pistachio Pudding for the cardbase and then I added a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The DSP is also Pistachio Pudding from the 2013-2015 In Colors Designer Series Paper Stack and I wrapped some gold stretchy twine around the card, I got the twine from the Good as Gold Card Kit from this year's Sale-a-Bration rewards.

This card was so fun to make and I enjoyed using elements from the card kits on this card to really extend the usefulness of these kits (I hate to throw anything away). I hope you enjoyed today's card and this color combination, it's fun to play with new ideas to see where they take you.
Have a great day and happy stamping,
Diana
Wow! I love how that black punched flower! Really adds a pop and frames the cut out flower beautifully! Great card!! Thanks for playing the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Deb...the black punched flower makes the other flower just pop right off the card. Love the little hint of black around the greeting as well. I like how you anchored it down with the starfruit twine. Great job on the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteVery fun and I totally agree that the black flower makes everything POP! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty. I really like the Pistachio panel down the front and the large amount of white. The black flower background is great too! Thanks for joining us for the color challenge this week at Create with Connie and Mary.
