Giggle Greetings Birthday Greetings

Good morning and Happy Friday!  It’s been a wonderful holiday season but it’s time to start looking beyond Christmas and work on other projects.  One things we need all year long is birthday cards and I really like to change up these cards because people have such different tasks, etc.  Today’ I’m sharing a fun birthday card using the Giggle Greetings stamp set (this is such a cute stamp set and perfect for people who don’t take things too seriously).

This card uses a Pool Party cardbase and then as a layer of Smoky Slate cardstock that was embossed with the Big Shot and the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder (remember this item is in the Holiday catalog so you’re only guaranteed to be able to purchase it through January 3, 2014, we don’t know if it will carryover so if you don’t have this folder make sure to order yours soon).  Next I used some I Am Me Designer Series Paper for the flag along with some Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon.  The greeting is stamped on Whisper White cardstock and colored in with Stampin’ Write Markers before cutting it out with the Big Shot and the Deco Label Framelits.  I cut another Deco Label in the same size out of Calypso Coral cardstock and attached it perpendicular to the white layer.  I attached the greeting layer with dimensionals so it pops up.

This stamp set has so many cute images I’ll definitely be using it a lot and I really like the clean lines and fun elements in this card, can’t wait to send it out.
