30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 25

Good morning,

It's the last week of November and we're coming to the end of this years gratitude challenge which I've thoroughly enjoyed.  For today's card I decided to play along with this weeks Paper Players Sketch Challenge and used the Trusty Tools stamp set for another masculine card.  This stamp set is great since it not only has the outline image but several solid images to help fill in the tools.

The card starts with a Basic Gray cardbase and then I added a piece of Real Red cardstock that's embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  Next I took a strip of Crushed Curry cardstock and stamped the nuts and bolts image repeatedly along both ends and attached it at a diagonal.

For the main stamped piece I layed out all the tools to figure out where I wanted them, stamped in Basic Black on Basic White cardstock and then colored them in either with the solid stamps or my Stampin' Blends.  The greeting was stamped in Lost Lagoon.  To finish off the card I matted it with Basic Black cardstock and attached it to the cardfront with dimensionals.

This was a fun sketch and great way to show off this stamp set.  I have a couple of guys in my life that this card would fit them perfectly.

  1. What a great masculine card! I seem to get stuck on Christmas this time of the year, so it's nice to see something different! Thanks for using the sketch from our Paper Players challenge this week!
