30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 23

Good morning,

I have lots planned today, including continuing to work on decorating the house for Christmas, my favorite time of year.  When I had the Rustic Crate set out for the card earlier this week I decided to also make a Christmas version using the poinsettias stamp set.  Once I colored it with Stampin' Blends and cut it out with the Rustic Crate dies it was ready for a card.

The cardbase is Pretty Peacock and then I added a piece of Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper as the cardfront.  I used a piece of the coordinating DSP matted with Real Red cardstock as a belly band.

The greeting is from the Throughout the Year stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies and attached it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The final touch, is a knot tied with Real Red & Gold 3/8" Dotted Ribbon.

This card may use a nontraditonal Christmas color but it works perfectly with the Real Red in the poinsettias!
