Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #660: Endless Love

Good morning,

Of course valentine's are still on my mind and was playing with the Love Notes Mix and Match Designer Series paper for some other cards so decided to use it for this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge as well.  This DSP pack makes cards and tags a breeze.

I started with Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the cardbase and added a piece of Real Red cardstock for the cardfront that was embossed with the Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder.

Next I added a strip of the DSP that was matted with Basic White cardstock and wrapped a piece of Gold Striped 3/8" Mesh Ribbon around and tied a knot.

The DSP has printed tags so the piece with the three hearts is one of those so I just cut it out and matted with Basic White cardstock.  The greeting is from the Endless Love stamp set and was stamped in Real Red ink directly on the paper before attaching to the card with dimensionals.

Love the simplicity and fun of this card.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing, we would love for you to play along and share what you create using this sketch.

Paper Players Theme Challenge #PP771: Endless Love

Good morning,

Of course I'm still playing along with my valentine goodies (and loving it) so playing along with this weeks Paper Players Theme challenge was right on point.  Since I have all dudes in my house I always need to lean towards a more masculine feel on cards.

This card started with Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of Basic Black cardstock as a mat for the Crumb Cake cardfront.

On the cardfront I used the Endless Love stamp set to stamp the small grouping of hearts in Crumb Cake ink in a diagonal down the cardfront.  The greeting is also stamped on this layer using both the Endless Love and Reason to Celebrate stamp sets.

Next, I started cutting hearts with the coordinating Endless Love dies.  The large heart is Flirty Flamingo and I embossed it with the Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder.  I used a piece of Made with Love Designer Series Paper for the middle heart (I colored a piece of Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends to coordinate better with this card.

The smallest heart is Crumb Cake and I used the arrow die to cut an arrow out of Basic Black cardstock to add behind the heart.   The "together & always" sentiment is from the Endless Love stamp set and was fussy cut before attaching with dimensionals.

This card turned out so fun, love all the textures and patterns!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #659: Endless Love

Good morning,

With all this cold and crazy snow lately I've been spending more time indoors which means more time in the craft studio, which always makes me happy so this week I'm playing along with the Paper Craft Crew weekly challenge.  I fell in love with the Made with Love product suite when it was released and decided to use the Hearts Gusseted Treat Bags to make valentine treats for my kiddo and his housemates.  These bags are large so they will hold a lot, chocolate in this case.

To decorate the bag I started with a piece of DSP from the Made with Love Designer Series Paper and used the Simply Scored Tool to score every half inch and then accordion folded it.  I used my glue gun and a circle punched from cardstock to create the circle, so fun!

Next, I used the Endless Love stamp set to stamp the greeting on Basic White cardstock .  The heart is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed with Gold Metallic Embossing Powder before being cut out using the coordinating Endless Love Dies and popped up with dimensionals.  The final touch was to tie a bow using some Bubble Bath 1/8" Faux Linen Ribbon.

I absolute love how this turned out and I made different designs for the housemates.  Make sure to check out the other projects the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create.
