30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 22

Good morning,

It's Friday and I'm so excited for the weekend, we have lots planned and we get to see our kiddo for Thanksgiving next week which is the best!

For today's gratitude card I decided pay homage to the beverage that most adults love on a daily basis, coffee!  And the Latte Love set is so fun!!

This card starts with Lost Lagoon cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of A Little Latte Designer Series Paper that's matted with Early Espresso cardstock.  I added a stripe of the coordinating DSP along the center of the cardfront and then wrapped a piece of Natural 3/8" Polka Trim around all the layers.

For the main stamped image I used the Latte Love bundle to stamp and color this fun coffee mg, complete with steam.  Once I cut the piece out with the coordinating dies I attached it to the cardfront with dimensionals.  The greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink directly on the cardfront.  There's a cute splatter stamp in this set so I stamped it a couple of times behind the greeting using Pecan Pie ink that was stamped off once.  The final touch was to add a few Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots.

I have several friends who come to mind with this card so it will definitely get used.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 21

Good morning,

As you may know, I'm in a house full of boys, even the dog (lol!) so I'm always in the need for masculine cards.  My guys are also very active in scouts and outdoor activities so when I saw the Let's Wander stamp set it was one of the first on my wish list so I decided to use it for today's gratitude card.

This card uses Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then I took a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock and embossed it with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (and then sponged it with Crumb Cake ink) and then matted it with Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the hiking boots from the Let's Wander stamp set on Basic White cardstock with Momento Black ink and then colored them in with Stampin' Blends (I did use the Layering Squares Dies to cut the image out, but you could just cut the cardstock down with a paper trimmer).

The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped in Basic Black ink on Crumb Cake cardstock before cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies and attached with dimensionals.  I used some Black & Very Vanilla 3/8" Large Check Ribbon to dress up the card.

Oh, these boots are so fun and perfect for the dudes in your life!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 20 (Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge #597)

Good morning,

We're finally getting some fall weather which is perfect as we're approaching Thanksgiving so it's perfect to play along with this weeks Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge.

I was so excited to see the Rustic Crate stamp set and coordinating dies carried over to this years annual catalog, perfect for multiple occasions and love a little color therapy with Stampin' Blends so I decided to use them for today's card.

This card uses Crumb Cake cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper (the reverse side has these great watercolor prints) and matted it with Basic Black cardstock.  I also added a piece of DSP from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper for the green strip pattern.

I stamped the pumpkin and flower image from Rustic Crate on Basic White cardstock, colored it in with Stampin' Blends and then cut it out with the Rustic Crate Dies.  I used the same dies to cut the crate pieces and sponged them to bring out the woodgrain.   Behind the crate image I cut a piece of Vellum cardstock with the Deckled Circles Dies.

The greeting is from the So Sincere stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Basic White cardstock and then cutting it out with the Stitched Shapes Dies and attached with dimensionals.

For finishing touches on the card I added some Faux Glass Dots on the oval and some Natural 3/8" Polka Dot Trim.

I love every element of this card, it just gives me all the fall vibes.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create for this challenge.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 19

Good morning,

I really can't believe it was in the 70's yesterday, it's November!  My flowers are a little confused and I have a couple of daffodils blooming which we know is not the right time of year, oh my!  This warm weather inspired me to make this bright, cheery, flowery card for today's gratitude card which uses a couple items that are Online Exclusives.  I feel these items sometimes get overlooked so you I try to look through that section regularly to see what's new.

This card starts with Granny Apple Green cardstock for the cardbase and then I added a piece of paper from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper Pack.  I took another piece of paper from the same pack with the bright flowers and matted it with Melon Mambo cardstock.

The greeting is from the Simply Zinnia stamp set and was stamped in Basic White cardstock with Blackberry Bliss ink.  I added the greeting to the card with dimensionals and then tied a double bow with Linen Thread for an accent.  As a final touch I added a few pearls on the flower paper to dress it up.

This card just makes me smile, love the bright colors and flowers!
