Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #589: More than Autumn

Good morning!

With all the clouds and rain we've had this week it's definitely starting to feel like fall.  When I saw this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge I thought it would be perfect to show off the new More than Autumn stamp set and coordinating dies (fun for so many occasions).

This card uses Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the card base and then I layered Cajun Craze and Basic Black cardstock behind the Basic White cardfront.

Next I stamped the coffee cup image and whip with the More than Autumn stamp set, colored it in with Stampin' Blends before cutting the pieces out with the coordinating dies.

On the cardfront I added a piece of designer series paper from the Iconic Celebrations DSP pack (and tore along the top edge for a little extra texture before adding the cup with dimensionals.  The stamped words are in Cajun Craze ink and I used the die to cut out the "pumpkin" from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  The final touch was to add some Faux Glass Dots sprinkled on top, lol!

I'm not a coffee drinker but this card is even giving me all the fall vibes.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and I would love for you to play along and share what you create!

Paper Craft Crew Theme Challenge #588: Potions & Spells

Good morning!

Loving the arrival of fall which means Halloween fun will be here before we know it.  This weeks Paper Craft Crew theme challenge is right in line with this so I thought it would be the perfect time to ink up the Potions & Spells stamp set and coordinating dies.

This card uses Smoky Slate for the cardbase and then layers Granny Apple Green and Basic Black cardstock behind the Basic White cardfront.

Next I used the stamp set to stamp the cauldron on Basic Gray cardstock before cutting it out with the coordinating dies.  The ooze from the cauldron uses the same dies and the Festive Glimmer Paper.

I used a piece of designer series paper from the Halloween Memories Scrapbooking Workshop kit to cut out the stack of books for the spooky cat to stand on (and he's popped up with dimensionals).

I used other images in the stamp set to stamp the bubbles using Smoky Slate ink and the greeting was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink.  As a final touch, I added some Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments (the clear one's) for accents to the bubbles.

This card is so fun, which just the perfect amount of spooky!  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team are sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create.

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #582: Something Fancy

Good morning,

It seems like summers are the perfect time for birthdays and we have lots of birthday celebrations this time of year so I thought it would be perfect to use this weeks Paper Craft Crew theme challenge to send birthday greetings to a friend.

Simple Stamping is perfect when you want to letter our fabulous designer series paper be the star and the Meandering Meadows Designer Series paper is perfect.

For this card I started with Balmy Blue cardstock for the cardbase and then matted a piece of the DSP (these scenes make me want to visit them) with Basic Black cardstock.

The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and I started by cutting out a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Nested Essentials dies before stamping the greeting in Melon Mambo ink.  I attached the greeting with dimensionals and trimmed the left side of the die cut piece so it fit the cardfront.

I just added a double bow tied with Linen Thread and some pearls from the Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls as the finishing touch.

This card is perfection!  I love the colors and feelings it brings out.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #578: Beach Day

Good morning,

It's summer and lots of people are heading to the beach (not going to lie I'm a little jellie!)  For this weeks Paper Craft Crew challenge I decided to make a gift bag with beach vibes and birthday greetings.

I used a retired white striped gift bag (these are too cute and perfect for a little gift and gift card).  I used the Beach Day bundle to stamp and color, using Stampin' Blends, the life guard stand, surf board, and even the waves.

After they were colored and cut out I used dimensionals to pop them up for added dimension and then stamped the greeting (from the same stamp set) using Pumpkin Pie ink.

Of course the bag needed a little flourish so I took a piece of Iridescent 1/2" Striped Trim and colored it with the Tahitian Tide Dark Stampin' Blends for the perfect beachy blue and tied it around the handles.

This bag is sooo cute and perfect to send birthday greetings!  Make sure to check out the other projects the design team is sharing and we would love for you to play along and share what you create.
