30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 13

Good morning!

After a last blast of warm weather, the fall and cold has rejoined us for what I hope is the last time (this switching temps, hot to cold, repeatedly is frustrating).  The guys have also been camping with the scouts this weekend for their annual Scoutsgiving outing but are coming home today and can't wait to hear about all the fun.

I used all these fall happenings as inspiration for today's card back with the Hello Harvest Product Suite (these pumpkins are just awesome!)

For this card I started with Cajun Craze cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of the Rustic Harvest DSP (I used my Pumpkin Pie Blend's to color color in the pumpkins on the DSP).  I added a coordinating pattern from this pack along the left side which was matted with Early Espresso cardstock.

I stamped the Pumpkin using the Hello Harvest stamp set on Basic White cardstock and then colored it in with Blends before cutting it out with the coordinating dies.  The greeting is from the same stamp set and was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic White cardstock and then I fussy cut it out with my Paper Snips before attaching it with dimensionals.  The final touch, a perfect little double bow tied with Linen Thread.

This product suite is so awesome, it makes making beautiful cards so easy.  Love it!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 12

Good morning!

I'm really loving the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper and the Good Feelings stamp set so I decided to make another card for the gratitude challenge using these same items but with a different feeling.

This card uses all the same supplies I used on other cards this week with the addition of the Rose Gold & White 5/8" Striped Ribbon (this ribbon is amazing in person, you'll love it!)  I also matted the greeting with some Rose Gold Metallic Paper, for some extra bling.

I love the colors and metallics in this card, a perfect way to let someone know they're special and appreciated.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 11

Good morning!

I know I've expressed this before but I love rainbows and creating a rainbow effect with inks.  When I saw the Hello & Thanks Embossing folders I knew they would be perfect for this technique.

This card uses no stamping...after I embossed the image on Basic White cardstock I used Stampin' Sponges to blend different ink colors that I pulled from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (this pack is a hostess item from the July to December Mini catalog and has patterns to cover every occasion so if you don't have it yet, make sure to add it to your wish list!)

To finish off the card I used Pool Party cardstock for the cardbase, Poppy Parade cardstock to mat the DSP, and then wrapped some Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon around the cardfront.

This card is so fun and a perfect way to say thanks in any language!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 10

Good morning!

Stampin' Up! has such an amazing variety of colors and I love that we get 5 new In Colors every year to help keep our color collection fresh and modern.  For today's gratitude card I wanted to share a quick and easy card which shows off this years In Colors.

I started with Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base and then added a piece of Basic White cardstock that was matted with Basic Black cardstock.  Next I cut a strip of the In Colors from the 2022-2024 In Colors Designer Series Paper and used each of the four prints available (these colors are so yummy and work really well together or with our other core colors).  I did wrap a piece of Basic Black Baker's Twine from the Essentials Baker's Twine Pack around the center.

The greeting is from the Good Feelings stamp set and was stamped in Tahitian Tide on Basic White cardstock, cut out with the Layering Circles dies and then sponged around the edges with Basic Black ink before attaching to the card with dimensionals.  The final touch is a double bow tied with the same black twine.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 9 (Paper Craft Crew Challenge)

Good morning!

It is finally starting to feel like fall again, the hot weather this weekend was kind of crazy.  We're getting so close to Christmas that I'm starting to look at the projects I have on my To Do list, which, yes includes thank you cards.

I decided to combine this weeks Paper Craft Crew challenge which has Christmas colors with my gratitude challenge this month.

For this card I used Soft Succulent for the cardbase and then added a piece of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper that's matted with Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Next I added a different piece of the DSP, matted with Real Red, to bring the red color into the card.

Next I used the Layering Circles Dies and Vellum cardstock to cut a vellum circle to highlight the greeting.  The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and was stamped on Soft Succulent cardstock and stamped with Mossy Meadow ink before being fussy cut and attached with dimensionals.  Of course I needed a little bling to I added some Gold & Vanilla 3/8" Satin Edged Ribbon behind the greeting.

I really like the elegant look to this card with the reds and greens and gold accents, perfect for the holidays.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team are sharing and we would love for you to play along with us and share what you create.
