SSINKspiration 2019 Sale-a-bration Favorite Stamp Set: Hello Cupcake

Good morning!  How are you enjoying the extended holiday festivities?  I love this week since we're all off and get to just relax (and I try to get a few things done around the house).  Despite placing my preorder for the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalog at the beginning of the month I haven't had a chance to play with any of my goodies until this week.  Today the SSINKspiration team is sharing projects using our favorite stamp set from this years Sale-a-bration brochure.  There are so many great products this week but given my love of sweets, and cupcakes in particular it should be no surprise that the Hello Cupcake stamp set is one of my favorites!

For this card I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Berry Burst cardstock and embossed with the Big Shot and Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder before adding a strip of Early Espresso Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper package.  For the ribbon I used Calypso Coral 1/8" Sheer Ribbon (but honestly I thought it was flirty flamingo, haha!)

For the main stamped image I used Early Espresso, Flirty Flamingo, and Berry Burst to stamp the cupcake images (and since they're photopolymer lining up was a breeze).  I used the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out both the cupcake and the greeting.  I sponged around the edge of the greeting with Early Espresso ink and then attached the greeting circle with dimensionals.

This cupcake looks good enough to eat, I love it!

2018 Eichfeld Christmas Card: Timeless Tidings

Merry Christmas!  I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day with friends and family.  Now that our Christmas cards should have all arrived I wanted to share our family Christmas card for the year.  While my initial plan was to make something easier than last years (oh all the watercoloring and die cuts, haha!)  so I decided to go with a fun fold and decided the interlocking gate fold would be perfect.  Of course using the Timeless Tidings stamp set and adding the poinsettia and greens that were colored with Stampin' Blends and then hand cut our (times 100) all made it a bit more complicated but really loved the end result (of course the foil designer series paper added the bling factor!)

Here's the inside of the card where we added this years family picture.

Hope you enjoy and have a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a wonderful 2019!

SSINKspiration Sparkle and Shine: Merry Christmas to All

Good afternoon!  Have you crossed all those items off your To Do list?  I'm still working through mine which is why I haven't been sharing as much, sorry about that.  Today the SSINKspiration team is sharing projects that sparkle and shine and you know how I love all the bling so I thought I would share a card that has glitter, foil, copper, and rhinestones (oh my!!)

I started with Gray Granite cardstock for the cardbase and then added a piece of Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper as the cardfront.

For the main image I used the Big Shot and Stitched Labels Framelits to cut the frame out of Shaded Spruce cardstock and heat embossed "happy" from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set using the Heat Tool and Copper Embossing Powder.

Next I used the Big Shot and the Merry Christmas Thinlits using Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.  For a little accent I cut a couple of holly sprigs using Mint Macaron cardstock and the Alpine Sports Thinlits and then added a Red Rhinestone as the berries.

I love this all the sparkle on this card, can you blame me?  And the great thing is that it's flat and mailable and not time consuming to make (so if you're still working on your Holiday cards this one may be just right for you and still be super impressive!

Remember the last day to purchase items from the holiday catalog is January 2 so make sure to stock up on your favorites before it's too late!  Also a reminder the Merry Christmas to All stamp set and coordinating framelits will be carrying over however the bundle pricing is only available through January 2 so if you want these you can save 10% by ordering now.

SSINKspiration Celebrations: Picture Perfect Birthday

Good afternoon!  There are so many celebrations, that we get to experience all year long, the first of which comes to mind is birthdays so when the SSINKspiration design team decided to focus on celebrations I decided to make a birthday card (we all have birthdays!)  I also decided to do a fun fold with this card where the front is cut short so you can see the inside of the card, giving you a perfect time to decorate the inside of the card.

For this card I used Pool Party cardstock for the cardbase and Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card which I used the Picture Perfect Birthday to stamp a row of birthday candles.

On the front of the card I added a piece of designer series paper from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper package and wrapped a piece of Lemon Lime Twist 1/4" Ombre Ribbon around the DSP and tied a knot.  For the greeting I used the same stamp set and stamped the greeting in Basic Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and then after cutting it out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes Framelits I used Berry Burst, Pool Party, and Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp the confetti and then matted it with a scallop circle cut out of Basic Black cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelits and Big Shot.  I used dimensionals to attach the greeting and added them only to the top so it could overlap with the inside of the card.

This is such a fun card and perfect way to celebrate someone's special day!

SSINKspiration Favorite Christmas Designer Series Paper: Alpine Adventures

Good afternoon!  The weather man got our hopes up that we may see some sizeable snowfall this weekend but it's now looking like it's not going to fall our way but that doesn't mean it didn't get me thinking about snow activities and the Alpine Adventures stamp set and thinlits are perfect so I decided to use them on today's card.   The SSINKspiration team is sharing their favorite Christmas Designer Series Paper so this is perfect!

For this card I used Real Red cardstock for the cardbase and then added Shaded Spruce cardstock as a mat for the Very Vanilla cardfront (which was embossed with the Big Shot and Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder and then sponged with Crumb Cake ink)

Next I added a piece of All is Bright Designer Series Paper (this is one of my favorite prints in the package and I've been afraid to cut into it until now) and matted it with Real Red cardstock.  The greeting is from the Alpine Adventures stamp set and was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on Very Vanilla and then cut out with the Big Shot and Stitched Shapes framelits and attached with dimensionals.  The snowshoe was cut with the Alpine Sports Thinlits and was cut out of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (I added a Multipurpose Adhesive sheet to the DSP before cutting so the snow shoe was covered in adhesive for easy application.  The final touch was to cut a bow out of Gold Foil Paper using the same thinlit set.

I absolutely love this card and it will be one of the cards we make this Sunday in Just Cards class so make sure you sign up so you can make this card as well.
